County roads: outside the city limits, Finney County Public Works handles entrances, utilities, and other right-of-way accommodations along county roads, and it requires permits for driveway and utility work. The office is at 101 West Maple and the number is 620-272-3564. Worth a call before you set a unit at the end of a section road.
Food vendors: if your event has food booths, clear the setup with the state before the date and plan for a handwashing station at the food line. It is the simplest way to keep an inspector happy and your guests healthy.
