Standard building debris is welcome: framing, drywall, roofing, flooring, cabinets, fencing and household junk from a cleanout.
Hazardous material is not. Paint, thinners, solvents, pesticides, fuels, motor oil and anything caustic must stay out of the container, and so must asbestos and free liquids of any kind. Edmond residents have a route for the household version of this material, described in the next part of the page.
The local facility list is tighter than most people expect. The receiving station near Edmond publishes refusals for bricks, rocks, dirt and cement, railroad ties, insulation, batteries, fluorescent tubes, and tree limbs, wood or metal longer than five feet. Anything that has held refrigerant needs separate handling.
Tires come with a rule of their own and should always be mentioned at booking rather than buried in the load.
If you are unsure about an item, ask your account manager before it goes over the side. One refused item can turn a routine haul into a return trip.
