Framing, drywall, cabinets, flooring, roofing, furniture, and general junk are all normal container loads. The limits come from King County's rules for its own facilities, and they are more detailed than most.
Televisions, computers, monitors, laptops, cell phones, and tablets are not accepted for disposal at county facilities at all. Major appliances can't be buried either, though Bow Lake does recycle them. Ammunition is refused outright.
Several items are limited rather than banned. Tires aren't taken from businesses, and residents are capped at four passenger car tires per vehicle. More than six mattresses or box springs in a day needs county approval first. Liquids have to be sealed and stay under five gallons a visit. Asbestos needs approval before it travels anywhere.
Clean wood, corrugated cardboard, scrap metal, and yard waste must be sorted out and recycled rather than tipped as garbage, and clean wood longer than eight feet is turned away.
Hazardous waste, paint, solvents, and fuel never belong in a standard container. If an item on your job looks borderline, ask your account manager before it goes in.
