Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Casper
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Casper, Wyoming, and the Natrona County country around it. Energy field work and highway construction, rodeos and outdoor events along the North Platte, fairground weekends, ranch projects, and remote crews working miles from the nearest building all keep portable toilets moving here.
What you pay comes down to the unit type, how many you need, how long they stay out, and how often a truck reaches them. Below you'll find the ranges we quote, how to size an order, the City's permit rules, and how to get delivery when you need it.
Each range above is for a standard three-day rental of one unit. Three days matches the way most Casper weekends run, and a single-day booking generally sits in the same range.
Longer work is billed on a 28-day cycle with weekly cleaning built in. That's how most energy and roadwork crews take units, and it costs less per day than repeating short rentals.
Distance drives cost more here than almost anywhere. A unit on a lease road an hour out of town takes real windshield time to service, and every visit carries that. On those sites a solar unit pays for itself, because there's no power to plug into.
Weather is the other Casper factor. Wind is constant, so anchoring matters, and a winter job needs units placed where a plow and a service truck can still reach them in February. Your account manager will work all of it into the quote.

Request a Quote NowWork out two things first: the number of people and the length of the day. That gives you these figures:
Food vendors add their own layer. Wyoming's temporary food license rules are blunt about it: hand sanitizer is not a substitute for handwashing, and no liquid or solid waste may go on the ground. That means a real handwashing station at every booth.
A long summer day in dry heat pulls more capacity than the same crowd in the evening. Start with our porta potty calculator, then let your account manager check the plan against your schedule.
Each unit fits a different setting. Our porta potty options page lays them out side by side.
The Standard Porta Potty is the everyday unit, with a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder, and hand sanitizer. It covers job sites, ranch work, and casual gatherings.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is wider, with a level entry, grab bars, and room to turn a wheelchair. Bring at least one to anything open to the public.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flushing bowl and better odor control, which guests notice at a wedding or a reception.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink carries a sink, soap, and a mirror inside, so guests wash up in one stop.
The Solar Porta Potty powers its light and fan from the sun. On a Wyoming lease road or a remote camp with no power, that's the difference between a usable unit after dark and a dark one.
The Handwashing Station is a free-standing sink loaded with clean water, soap, and towels, and it earns its place wherever food is served or a crew breaks for lunch.
The Restroom Trailer gives you several stalls, running water, and heat, which matters a lot in a Casper shoulder season.
Tell your account manager about the site and the crowd, and they'll build the right mix.
On private ground, a yard, a ranch, or a fenced job site, no City permit applies. Public ground is another matter.
Events. Casper issues a special events permit for events that block a public right-of-way, meaning a street, sidewalk, trail, or similar route, and for events on outdoor City property with more than 100 people. The fee scales with the size and impact of the event. Review can take up to 30 days, so the City tells organizers to apply early. You can reach the events desk at 307-235-7568, and City Hall sits at 200 N David Street.
Blocking a street for work. If you need to close or restrict traffic to work in, on, or under a street, Casper requires a traffic obstruction permit from the city engineer, filed at least four hours before the closure. You send a sketch showing traffic routing and the control devices you'll use, plus the reason and the timing, and the engineer answers within 24 hours.
Outside the city limits. An organized event on a state highway or along state right-of-way outside any city or town needs prior approval from Wyoming's transportation department. The state's event guide asks for the application at least 60 days ahead and promises a response within 30 days.
Food vendors. A vendor selling food needs a temporary food license, issued by the state agriculture department or the local health office, applied for before the event and good for up to 14 straight days. The Natrona County Health Department on South Spruce Street is the local office for the Casper area.
If you can't tell who controls your spot, your account manager will pin down the right office before delivery day.
Set units on firm, level ground and think about wind. Casper gets a lot of it, and an unanchored unit on an open bench is asking for trouble. Tuck units behind a windbreak where you can, and give the driver a clear approach with room to turn a truck around.
Keep units at least 15 feet from food service and away from wells, creeks, and drainage. On a job site, place them within about 200 feet of the work so crews aren't walking far in cold or wind. At an event, split them into clusters and set the accessible unit on firm, level footing.
A normal rental buys one stop a week, covering the pump-out, an interior wash, and fresh paper and sanitizer. Big crews, hot stretches, and alcohol at events all shorten the gap between visits. On a remote site, talk to us about the schedule up front, because visit timing there is planned around the drive, not just the tank.
Casper Public Utilities runs the city's wastewater collection and its treatment plant, which is where the region's sewage is cleaned before it goes back to the North Platte. Wyoming's own event rules make the principle plain: this waste never goes on the ground. Your account manager can lock in service days and talk through placement before the first drop.

Most Casper orders go out within 24 to 48 hours in town. A remote lease or a ranch an hour out may need an extra day, so three to five days of notice helps. For a rodeo weekend, a wedding, or a fair date, book several weeks ahead, because units go out across the whole region at once.
Five habits that keep a delivery on track:
Prime Dumpster covers all of Casper, from the downtown core and the river corridor to the job sites spreading east along the highway and up toward the mountain. Delivery also covers Evansville, Mills, Bar Nunn, Mountain View, Glenrock, Midwest, Edgerton, Alcova, and the ranches and energy leases scattered across Natrona County, so one partner crew handles your project whether it's in town or a long way down a gravel road.
Plan on $199 to $349 for a standard unit and $200 to $300 for an accessible one. The deluxe flushing and sink models land between $300 and $400, and a restroom trailer opens at $1,500. Each of those is three days with one unit. Quantity, duration, service frequency, and the drive out to your site decide the final number, which your account manager confirms.
Start from one unit for each 50 guests over four hours, then lift that by 15 to 20 percent if there's alcohol. A 200-guest outdoor wedding comes to roughly four units plus a handwashing station beside the food. Invite the public and an accessible unit belongs on the list. Your account manager adjusts for heat and a longer schedule.
Wyoming adopts the federal construction standards without changes. A crew of 20 or fewer needs at least 1 toilet, and past that it's 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal for every 40 workers. Keep units close to the work, especially in wind and cold, and add a handwashing station. Tell your account manager whenever the crew grows.
Weekly service is the standard: pump the tank, clean and sanitize the interior, restock paper and hand sanitizer. Large crews, summer heat, and alcohol at events all call for more. On a remote Natrona County site, we plan visits around the drive as well as the tank, and your account manager will set that up with you.
No. A unit on your own yard, ranch, or fenced job site needs no City of Casper permit. Approval enters the picture once it blocks a street, sidewalk, or trail, sits on outdoor City property as part of an event, or goes in state highway right-of-way. Your account manager can help you sort out which applies.
The standard model is a narrow stall holding a toilet, a urinal, and sanitizer. The accessible model is wider and deeper, with a flat threshold, grab bars, and clear floor for a wheelchair to turn. Figure one accessible unit for every 20 at a public event. A job site used only by the crew is exempt from that ratio.
A weekend is quoted as three days. Over that period a standard unit runs $199 to $349, a deluxe flushing unit $300 to $400, and a handwashing station $150 to $250. You choose the drop-off and pickup times at booking, and your account manager reads the weekend total back to you.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We'll size the order, plan service visits around the drive and your busiest days, and give you a clear price on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
