A $200 refundable damage deposit is required for permits on city property. A free waiver application is available for events that may not need a full permit.
The fairgrounds are an exception. If an event is held solely on the Wyoming State Fairgrounds, the city says no permit is needed. Restrooms there are arranged with the fairgrounds.
Park shelters are free to reserve. The city reserves park shelters at no charge, but reserving an entire park usually triggers a special event permit. City Hall answers on 307-358-3462.
