Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Nashua
At Prime Dumpster, we rent porta potties across Nashua, New Hampshire, and the Hillsborough County towns beside it. The units serve construction and fit-out work in the Millyard and along Amherst Street, warehouse and industrial projects out by Northeastern Boulevard, home builds and remodels throughout the city, and outdoor events of every size, from a downtown street fair to a graduation party or a weekend tournament.
Your total follows the model you choose, how many units you take, how long you hold them, and how often a driver returns to clean them. Below are our ranges, how to size an order, how Nashua handles a unit on a public street, and how fast we can get there.
All of those ranges assume a three-day booking, which is how most Nashua graduation, reunion, and wedding orders are written. One Saturday and a Friday-through-Sunday run usually land on the same figure, so hold the dates you actually want.
Longer site work prices differently. A fit-out, a commercial shell, or a multi-month remodel is normally set up in four-week cycles with weekly cleaning included, and the figure for each week drops well down once it is.
New England winter is a planning factor rather than a barrier. Nashua sites work through the cold months, and a unit needs a position the truck can still reach after a plow has been through, so the service route is worth agreeing in the fall rather than in January.
Service frequency moves the total more than anything else. Each visit pumps the tank, cleans the interior, and refills paper and sanitizer. A humid July week, or a two-day event with a crowd, generally earns a second visit.
Access is the last piece. A unit a truck can pull alongside is quick both ways. A unit behind a site fence, in a tight Millyard courtyard, or at the back of a deep lot takes longer to reach and longer to serve, and the quote shows it.

Request a Quote NowStart from the number of people and the hours. Prime Dumpster plans to these figures:
Nashua publishes no guest-to-unit figure. Its adopted code sets vendor and street fair rules, a four-day cap on a street fair, and a licensing route for obstructing a street, but it contains no restroom or sanitation provision at all, and the City's own special events web pages are not usable. So an organizer here has no local table to work from, and a nearby city's number does not govern Nashua. Our porta potty calculator gives you a figure you can stand behind, and your account manager will size the order against your attendance, your hours, and your alcohol plan.
Pick the model around the people using it. Our porta potty options page sets them side by side.
The Standard Porta Potty is the base of most Nashua orders. One stall with a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder, and sanitizer, and it covers trade crews, yard work, and family gatherings.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is the wider model with a level threshold, a broad door, grab bars, and turning space for a chair, marked with the accessibility symbol. One belongs at every event the public attends.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes and vents properly, which is what guests notice at a wedding or a milestone party.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink keeps the basin, soap, and mirror inside the stall, so a guest washes without a second stop.
The Solar Porta Potty powers its light and fan from a roof panel, which suits rural parcels and evening events with no outlet nearby.
The Handwashing Station is a free-standing basin with clean water, soap, and towels. Put one by every food vendor and another near a working crew.
The Restroom Trailer carries several plumbed stalls with heating and cooling, which is worth a great deal in a New Hampshire winter. Weddings and long-held sites are where it fits.
Undecided? Give your account manager the guest count or the crew numbers and they will assemble the order.
Set a unit on private ground, including your own yard, a driveway, or a fenced job site, and you will not normally need anything from the City. A public street, sidewalk, or alley is a different matter, and Nashua handles it in an older way than most cities.
It is a license from the Board of Public Works, not a counter permit. The city code lets the Board of Public Works grant a license in writing to any person, for the purpose of building or for other lawful purposes, to obstruct or encumber any part of a street, lane, alley, sidewalk, or other public place, on whatever terms and conditions the Board considers safe and proper. So the route genuinely exists, it is discretionary, and it goes to a Board rather than a clerk. Allow time for that, and ask early.
The conditions attached are specific, and they are about equipment. Where a licensed obstruction leaves a street or sidewalk unsafe or inconvenient for travelers, the person obstructing it must put up and keep a suitable railing or fence around it, and must keep one or more lighted lanterns fixed to that fence every night from twilight through the whole night for as long as it stands. They must also repair the street afterwards, within whatever time the Board directs, to the Board's acceptance. That is a real cost and a real duty, and it belongs in the plan before a unit goes out on a downtown sidewalk.
Excavation or disturbing the surface of a public street also needs a Board license, and an application for street lines and grades has to go in at least 15 days before work starts, with the City Engineer supplying them free within that time.
Street fairs have a hard four-day ceiling. Nashua defines a street fair as a special event in a limited, defined area for a period not to exceed four days, and treats it as a vendor activity running through the City's vendor licensing. A longer run has to be restructured, not extended. Vendor licensees also carry insurance in amounts the Risk Manager sets, naming the City as additional insured with 30 days' notice of cancellation, and remain responsible for any City health licenses or state licenses their trade needs.
Downtown has its own layer. For the Downtown District the City designates the areas and publishes, for each one, how many vendors are allowed, what product types are permitted, which days or times are allowed, whether the site is seasonal or yearlong, and any other special conditions. A downtown position is therefore a question of which designated area you are in, not simply whether there is space.
Not sure which route your site needs? Your account manager can point you at the right Nashua office before a truck is scheduled.
Position does more for a long rental than the model does.
Choose firm, level ground. Frost heave and spring mud both move a unit that is sitting on soft footing, and a service truck needs a clear lane with no low limbs, tight gateposts, or parked equipment. Leave room to work beside the unit rather than only to reach it.
Keep units at least 15 feet from food service and well clear of wells, the river, brooks, and storm inlets. Crews should not walk much more than 200 feet. At an event, two or three small clusters serve a crowd better than one long row, and the accessible units need level footing with a firm approach. On a sidewalk position, remember the railing and lantern conditions and allow space for them.
Weekly servicing comes with a standard rental. Large crews, high summer, and multi-day events all point to a tighter cycle, and so does a mid-winter site where a missed visit is harder to recover from.
Where the waste goes sits on our side of the order rather than yours. Your account manager confirms the disposal point and sets the service schedule with you before the first delivery, and keeps the winter route in mind when the schedule is written.

A Nashua order can usually be standing on site inside 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days gives us room to match the units properly. For a festival weekend, a graduation, or a large outdoor wedding, allow several weeks, because southern New Hampshire demand lands on the same few dates each year.
Five things that keep a delivery smooth:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery across Nashua and the towns around it, including Hudson, Merrimack, Amherst, Milford, Litchfield, Hollis, Brookline, Londonderry, and Derry. Whether your project sits in the Millyard, along Daniel Webster Highway, or on rural ground out toward Hollis, we build the delivery, service, and pickup around your dates.
Standard units run $199–$349 and accessible units $200–$300. Both deluxe models sit at $300–$400, solar units average $500–$600, and a restroom trailer begins at $1,500. How many units, how long, and how often they are serviced set the final figure, which your account manager quotes free.
Allow one unit for each 50 guests across about four hours, then add 15 to 20 percent if alcohol is served. A 200-guest graduation party lands near five units. Add a handwashing station beside the food, and include at least one accessible unit whenever the public is invited.
New Hampshire has no plan of its own, so the federal standard is the whole answer. One facility covers a crew of 20 or fewer. Above 20 workers, add a toilet seat and a urinal for each 40, and above 200, one of each for each 50. Chemical toilets are accepted where there is no sewer.
Weekly servicing is included in a standard rental. Each stop empties the tank, washes the bowl and floor, wipes the surfaces, and replaces paper and sanitizer. Bigger crews, humid summers, and busy two-day events usually want two or three visits, which your account manager can schedule.
Normally no. Private ground such as a yard, driveway, or fenced job site needs nothing from the City. A street, sidewalk, or alley position needs a written license from the Board of Public Works, and that license carries fencing, lighting, and repair conditions.
The accessible model is wider, entered at ground level rather than over a step, and fitted with grab bars plus clear floor space for a wheelchair to turn. The standard model is one narrow stall with a toilet, a urinal, and sanitizer. Public events should always include at least one accessible unit.
A weekend already sits inside the three-day window the ranges above assume. Plan on $199–$349 for a standard unit or $300–$400 for a deluxe flushing one, with a handwashing station at $150–$250. Your account manager confirms the delivery hour and the collection day.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order, plan the cleaning visits, and get a figure to you quickly.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
