Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Kirkwood
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Kirkwood, Missouri, and the inner St. Louis County suburbs along the Manchester Road and Big Bend corridors. The units serve tear down and rebuild construction on the older streets, commercial and tenant work downtown and near the train station, utility and sewer projects, school and church events, and the farmers market and festival weekends that fill the city calendar.
Your price turns on the unit you choose, how many go out, how long you keep them, and how often a truck comes back to service them. Below are our ranges, the crew counts a Missouri job site works from, the City rules that apply, and our delivery timing.
Those ranges describe a three day rental, which is how most Kirkwood event orders are written. A single Saturday generally costs what a whole weekend costs, since the truck makes the same two trips.
Kirkwood's older lots are the local wrinkle. Houses sit close to the street, driveways are short, and mature trees crowd the curb line, so the unit often has to go exactly where the builder least wants it. Deciding that placement early is the difference between a smooth rental and a weekly argument.
The length of the booking carries much of the remaining difference. A short order and a six month rebuild price differently, and on a long job the weekly figure eases once the first month is done. Missouri summers often justify a second service visit a week on a busy site.
Access closes it out. A unit on firm ground near the curb is quick to set and quick to service. A unit behind a house, down a narrow shared drive, or inside a fenced yard costs the driver time. Your account manager will go through each point with you.

Request a Quote NowMissouri runs no workplace safety plan of its own, so job sites here work from the national worker sanitation table. Events run on a planning figure.
Neither Kirkwood nor Missouri publishes an attendee to restroom ratio for an ordinary outdoor event, so the planning figure above is the practical starting point. Our porta potty calculator gives you a number to work from, and your account manager will check it against your crowd and your hours.
Two questions settle it: who opens the door, and how many weeks the order runs. Our full range sits on the porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty holds a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder and sanitizer in one compact stall, and its narrow footprint is useful on a tight Kirkwood lot.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is wider, has no step at the door, and carries grab bars with room to turn a wheelchair. Add one to any cluster the public will use.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes and keeps odor down much better, which guests notice in a St. Louis August.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink has a sink, soap and mirror inside the stall, which suits a backyard reception or an open house.
The Solar Porta Potty powers its light and fan from a roof panel, which helps on park and trail work and at evening events with no power run.
The Handwashing Station is a sink on its own frame, stocked with clean water, soap and paper towels. Food stands and site entrances are the two places it earns its cost.
The Restroom Trailer arrives behind a truck and brings separate stalls, working plumbing and heating or cooling. Receptions, company days and multi month sites justify it.
Still weighing it up? Pass the crew size or the guest list to your account manager and they will put the order together.
On your own fenced yard or inside a closed construction site, Kirkwood has no permit for the unit itself. The street rule here is unusual, though, and it is the thing to get right.
Streets, including private ones: the Kirkwood code says that no one may erect, construct, place or maintain any obstruction in or on any street in the city without City Council approval. The list it gives is illustrative, naming bumps, fences, gates, chains, bars, pipes and wood or metal horses, and then catching anything else of the same kind. It also allows temporary placement with the permission of the Chief Administrative Official, the Fire Marshal or the Chief of Police, which is the practical route for a short rental. The detail that catches people out is the definition: in that part of the code, street means private and public streets and highways within the city. So a unit set in a private drive aisle, a condominium street or a shared commercial lane is covered too, and the right move is to ask for that temporary permission rather than assume private ownership settles it.
Digging in the right of way: any excavation in a public place, street, roadway, parkway, walkway, alley, right of way or easement needs a permit from the Director of Public Services, with a separate permit for each excavation and the fee set by Council resolution. Permits are issued to contractors. Driveway and curb work has its own permit and follows St. Louis County entrance standards.
Blocking a public place: the code also treats purposely obstructing vehicular or pedestrian traffic, or the free way in and out of a public or private place, as an offense in its own right. Between that and the obstruction rule above, the safe plan is a unit on ground you control, set where nobody has to walk around it in the roadway.
Events: the City does not publish a sanitation ratio or a single event application packet, so the venue drives the requirement. A park shelter, a street closure for a block party, and a downtown festival each come with their own conditions from the relevant department, and the police and fire contacts above are the ones who sign off on a temporary street placement.
Where the waste goes: Missouri handles this through state and local oversight of the companies that pump and haul it, and the receiving plant has to be one that accepts the waste. Your account manager can confirm the disposal arrangements for your order.
Unsure whether your spot counts as a street? Ask your account manager before you book.
Siting the unit well is what keeps it usable from one week to the next.
Firm, level ground comes first. Kirkwood has clay soil and a lot of shade, so a low spot stays soft for days after rain. A few sheets of plywood or a small stone pad near the drive solves most of it.
Keep units at least 15 feet from food service, and well back from creeks, sinkholes and storm inlets. On a job site, place them near the crew and clear of the equipment path. At an event, break them into two or three clusters rather than one row, and give accessible units level footing and a clear approach.
Mind the trees. Kirkwood's canopy is one of its best features and one of our hardest obstacles, because a service truck needs real overhead room to work. Pick a spot with open sky above it.
Weekly service is the baseline. Large crews, long festival weekends and the most humid part of summer usually warrant a second stop. Spring storms are worth planning for too, since an exposed unit needs staking on open ground.
Because the City treats private streets like public ones, think about the service truck's stopping place as well as the unit's. A driver who has to block a shared lane is a complaint waiting to happen. Your account manager can set the service pattern and settle any placement question before delivery.

Most Kirkwood orders can be on site within 24 to 48 hours. Where you can give three to five days, the precise combination can be lined up rather than the nearest match. For a festival weekend, a graduation or a holiday, allow several weeks, because the whole St. Louis area books those dates together.
These five habits keep a delivery smooth:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery across Kirkwood and the St. Louis County communities nearby, including Webster Groves, Ballwin, St. Louis, Chesterfield, University City, Arnold, Des Peres, Sunset Hills, Glendale and Rock Hill. Whether your project sits near the train station, out along Big Bend, or down toward Grant's Trail, we build the delivery, service and collection around your dates.
A standard unit is priced $199–$349 and an accessible one $200–$300. Expect $300–$400 for a flushing or sink model, $500–$600 for solar, and $1,500 upward for a trailer. Quantity, days on site and visit frequency do the rest. Your free quote carries the firm figure from your account manager.
Fifty guests to a unit across a four hour window is the starting point, raised 15 to 20 percent once alcohol is poured. A hundred guests comes out at two or three units. Site a sink at the food, and make sure a public event has an accessible unit in every group.
Missouri sits under the national worker sanitation table. Up to 20 workers, one toilet facility does it. From 21 workers the table adds a toilet seat and a urinal for every 40, and it expects washing facilities wherever people are employed. Give your account manager the busiest shift figure.
Once a week covers most orders. A visit means emptying the tank, scrubbing bowl and floor, cleaning the surfaces and putting back paper and sanitizer. Hard use, a multi day event or a humid Missouri stretch generally calls for two. Your account manager will time the stops to your schedule.
Inside a fenced yard or a closed site, no. Kirkwood is stricter than most about streets, and its obstruction rule covers private streets as well as public ones, so a shared drive aisle needs permission first. Your account manager can check which description fits your spot.
A standard unit is one slim stall fitted with a toilet, a urinal and sanitizer. An accessible unit is broader, sits flush with the ground at the door, and adds grab bars plus turning space for a wheelchair. Public groups need one of each. A closed crew site is judged less strictly.
Because the figures are built on three days, a weekend is the base case rather than an extra. Standard units are $199–$349, flushing units $300–$400 and sink stations $150–$250 on that basis. Your account manager will agree the drop, the service call and the collection.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. One call is usually enough to fix the count, the visits and the price.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
