Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Little Rock
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Little Rock, Arkansas, and the central Arkansas communities ringing the capital. Construction on the medical and university campuses, highway and bridge work around the river, downtown events and fairground weekends, and crews working out along the Arkansas River levees all keep units in demand here.
Your price follows the type of unit, the number you need, the rental length and the service schedule. Below are the ranges, the Arkansas rules that actually set your minimum, which Little Rock office to call about public ground, and how fast delivery can be scheduled.
Those ranges cover a standard three-day rental. Four things move your own figure in Little Rock.
Rental length does most of it. Weekend orders price across three days, so a single Saturday costs close to the full three. Long projects move to monthly cycles, which is where the daily cost drops away.
Service visits are next. Each one pumps the tank, washes the unit down, recharges it with disinfectant and restocks it. Arkansas humidity in July and August is unforgiving, and crews and crowds both notice the difference between one visit a week and two.
Unit choice matters at events. A standard unit is right for a job site. A reception at a downtown venue or out at a private garden wants flushing units or a trailer.
Last, the site. A level pad near a street is fast to serve. A unit down a muddy access road after a spring storm, behind a locked construction gate, or up on a levee takes longer on every visit, and that shows up in the quote.

Request a Quote NowArkansas is one of the states that publishes its own minimum, and it is worth understanding because it reaches further than the federal worker rules do.
The practical upshot is that you use whichever number is higher: the Arkansas public-health floor or the federal crew table. Our porta potty calculator will get you a working figure, and your account manager will check it against both.
Choose for the user and the length of the job. Everything is together on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty handles most Little Rock work. Toilet, urinal, paper and sanitizer, in a shell built for daily crew use.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty has a level entry, a wide door, grab bars and turning room inside. Public events need at least one.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes, and guests read it as a restroom rather than a job site unit. Weddings and company events are its place.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts the sink, soap and mirror inside. It earns its cost at family events and near food.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its light and vent fan from solar power, which suits evening events and sites with no power connected.
The Handwashing Station holds fresh water, soap and towels. Arkansas expects soap and single-use towels at public toilet facilities, so these belong in any event order.
The Restroom Trailer brings several stalls, running water and air conditioning. In an Arkansas August that air conditioning is the whole argument.
Not sure of the mix? Give your account manager the headcount and they will put it together.
On private ground, no. A unit in your yard, on a building lot or on private parking in Little Rock needs no city permit.
Streets, sidewalks and right of ways: the city's Traffic Engineering Division runs the permits for this, and its Traffic Permits section is explicit that it issues the permits for placing equipment in city right of way, alongside barricade permits for contractors working on the roadway. They are at 621 South Broadway Street and the number is 501-379-1800. Traffic control permit fees vary with the type of closure, so call for yours. If your site fronts a freeway or a state highway rather than a city street, that stretch belongs to the state highway department instead.
Events: Little Rock handles these through a parade or public assembly permit, and the application asks you directly what arrangements you have made so participants and spectators have access to sanitation or restroom facilities during the event. That question is why unit count is worth settling before you file. A single one-off event has to be applied for at least 5 and no more than 180 days ahead. A recurring event at the same location can be covered by one annual application filed at least 30 days before the first date. The fee is $25.00 per event, and the city will notarize the application for free at City Hall on weekdays. Public Works reviews it and may approve it subject to conditions, so expect follow-up questions about your layout.
Parks: for availability of a park or city facility, start with Parks and Recreation on 501-371-4770.
Food vendors: booths at an event need their own health permit, and Arkansas requires lavatories at public toilet facilities to have running water, soap and single-use towels, which in practice means a proper handwashing station by the food.
If you are not sure which permit your spot needs, your account manager can walk you to the right office before anything is delivered.
Set units on firm, level ground with a clear truck approach. Central Arkansas clay turns slick after rain, and a drop point that carried a loaded truck in September may not in March. Keep units well back from creeks, drainage ditches and storm inlets, and off septic fields on the rural parcels at the city edge.
Shade is worth planning for here. A unit baking in afternoon sun through an Arkansas summer is a different experience from one tucked beside a building, and it affects how often you will want it serviced.
Service visits do more than empty the tank. Arkansas requires units to be kept clean, properly ventilated and in good repair, and requires the holding chamber to be pumped and recharged with a disinfectant solution on a regular basis. The state also requires each unit standing on a site to display the owner's name, a phone number and the date of its last service, so anyone on site can see when it was last touched and who to call.
The company and the truck are licensed too, which is worth knowing. Anyone in the business of renting, leasing or maintaining portable toilets in Arkansas has to hold a state septic tank cleaner license, which means passing a department examination, carrying a department decal on each licensed vehicle, and showing the firm name, license number and tank capacity on the side of the tank in letters at least four inches high. A portable toilet service vehicle has to carry a welded, leak and splash-proof waste tank plus separate tanks for wash-down solution and disinfectant, along with the hoses and brushes to sanitize units on site.
Where the waste goes is settled by the same rules, and strictly. Portable toilet contents count as untreated sewage in Arkansas, may never be land-applied under any circumstances, and the only lawful destination is a public sewer system the license holder has a contract with. Your account manager can confirm your service days and the disposal arrangement for your order.

Most Little Rock deliveries happen within 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days of notice lets us stage the right mix of units. Book several weeks ahead for fairground weekends, marathon and race weekends, and anything in the heart of summer, when central Arkansas demand peaks.
Severe weather is the other scheduling factor here. Spring storms and river flooding both drive sudden demand from cleanup crews, and they also close access roads. If you run seasonal work, it pays to get on the schedule early.
Five things that make a delivery go smoothly:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery throughout Little Rock and the central Arkansas communities around it, including North Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, Jacksonville, Bryant, Benton, Alexander and Shannon Hills. Whether your project is downtown, out along Chenal Parkway, up on the slopes of Pinnacle Mountain, or on a county road past the city limits, we schedule delivery, servicing and pickup around your dates.
Standard units average $199–$349 and ADA-compliant units average $200–$300. Deluxe flushing and sink units run $300–$400, and restroom trailers start at $1,500. Those are three-day figures. Unit count, rental length and service frequency decide your final price, which your account manager confirms on the call.
Arkansas sets a floor of one unit per 100 people once 25 or more are present for over four hours without permanent toilets. That is a legal minimum, not a comfort target. We plan one unit per 50 guests across four hours, adding 15 to 20 percent for alcohol, plus an accessible unit and a handwashing station.
Federal worker-safety rules govern Arkansas job sites, since the state has no safety plan of its own: 1 toilet for a crew of 20 or fewer, then 1 toilet and 1 urinal for every 40 workers. The state health rule adds its own floor for sites of 25 people or more. Use whichever number is higher.
Weekly is standard. Arkansas requires units to be kept clean, ventilated and in good repair, with the holding chamber pumped and recharged with disinfectant regularly. Each unit also shows the date it was last serviced. Summer heat and big crews justify extra visits, and your account manager will set the schedule.
No. On your own lot, yard or job site in Little Rock, no city permit is needed. Placing a unit in a street, sidewalk or city right of way does need a permit from Traffic Engineering, and a freeway or state highway is the state's road. Your account manager can identify the right office for you.
A standard unit is sized for one person to step up into. An ADA unit adds a ground-level entry, a wider door, grab bars and enough floor to turn a wheelchair. Events open to the public need accessible units in every group. A job site used only by a crew is exempt from that requirement.
Standard units average $199–$349 across a three-day weekend, so one Saturday costs close to all three and most customers take the full weekend. Flushing units and restroom trailers cost more and sell out earlier in summer. Your account manager will confirm your weekend price and the delivery window.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will check your count against both Arkansas rules, set a service schedule that holds up in the heat, and give you a clear price on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
