Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Sand Springs
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and the Arkansas River valley west of Tulsa. Industrial construction along Charles Page Boulevard, new housing on the hills north of town, downtown festivals and community events, lake weekends out toward Keystone, and tornado-season cleanup all keep portable toilets in demand here.
What you pay turns on the unit you choose, the number you need, how long they stay, and how often a driver services them. Below you will find the price ranges, the counts we plan from, the City rules that apply, and how quickly delivery is arranged.
Read those ranges as a standard three-day rental. Weekend orders are written that way, so a Saturday festival and a Friday-through-Sunday one usually cost about the same.
Job sites switch to a monthly cycle with weekly cleaning included. On a long industrial project west of town, the monthly per-unit figure is the one to compare.
Green Country weather pulls in two directions. Summer heat drains supplies faster and makes an extra weekly stop worthwhile. Spring storms can shut a site for a day, and high water near the river can make a low-lying spot unusable, so a backup location saves you a redelivery charge.
Access is the last variable. A paved lot downtown is fast work. A hillside pad, a gravel track toward Keystone, or a locked contractor yard takes a driver longer. Describe the approach to your account manager and the number gets sharper.

Request a Quote NowCount people first, then hours, then the setting. Our baseline:
Sand Springs leaves the exact event count to state health guidance rather than publishing its own table, so the ratios above are your working estimate. Run the numbers through our porta potty calculator, and your account manager will sanity-check them against the venue and the hours.
Pick the unit around the people using it. They are all laid out on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty covers framing crews, pipeline work, yard projects, and casual get-togethers. Toilet, urinal, paper holder, and sanitizer.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty enters at ground level, with a wide door, grab bars, and room to turn a wheelchair. City event paperwork asks how many of these you are bringing, so plan them in from the start.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flush and better odor control, which is the right call for a reception or a company picnic.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts sink, soap, and mirror inside the stall, handy at a barbecue or a family reunion.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its lighting and fan from a roof panel, which suits a lake-side site, a night ball game, or a job with no power run.
The Handwashing Station is a freestanding sink with clean water, soap, and towels. Put one at every food booth and one at the crew break area.
The Restroom Trailer offers private stalls, running water, and climate control, which changes an Oklahoma August event completely.
Talk the crowd or the crew through with your account manager and they will build the right mix.
On private property, no permit is needed. A unit in your yard, on a business lot, or inside a fenced job site is yours to place, as long as it is serviced and does not sit in a drainage path.
Public space, streets, and City facilities: Sand Springs handles all of this through one process. The City's special event policy says an event application is required for anything that reserves or closes a public space, road, or facility, apart from the Case Community Center, which the Parks Department books. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee, and it can be credited toward the total cost of the event. Applications are due at least 45 days ahead, and coming in late can get the request denied. Neighborhood block parties on minor residential streets are the exception, with a 20-day notice. The review committee returns a written answer within 10 working days.
Unit counts and placement at events: the same policy tells you to supply enough portable toilets for the expected crowd, following state health department guidance, and it sets a clear placement rule. A unit may not go within 25 feet of the entrance to a neighboring business or home unless that owner or tenant agrees to less. The event application also asks for your supplier's name and phone, the total unit count, and the accessible unit count, so have that ready. File with the Planning Department at 100 E. Broadway, or call 918-246-2573.
Streets and easements outside an event: for a unit that has to sit near a City street or a utility easement, call Public Works at 918-246-2500 before delivery. They are at 13101 West 46th Street.
Food vendors: in Tulsa County the health department has to approve the event itself, and vendors are expected to check in about a week ahead. Every booth needs its own handwashing station, which means at least a five-gallon insulated container with a free-flowing spigot, a catch basin, warm water, soap, and paper towels. Push-button jugs are not accepted, and the station has to be working before anyone touches food.
Not sure which office covers your site? Your account manager can find the right contact before delivery day.
Firm, level ground first. Concrete, asphalt, and packed gravel all hold a unit square. River-bottom soil near the Arkansas stays soft long after a storm passes, and a loaded truck finds every soft patch.
Wind deserves respect here. Strap or stake units when a spring system is forecast, and avoid open ridgelines when you have a choice. Keep the approach clear of parked vehicles and low limbs, and send gate codes when you book.
Set units at least 15 feet from food service, and away from creeks, storm inlets, and the riverbank. At an event, remember the City's 25-foot setback from a neighbor's doorway. On a job site, keep the walk under about 200 feet from the work.
Weekly service is standard: pump the tank, wash the interior, restock paper and sanitizer. Through a Tulsa-area summer, two stops a week is far better, and your account manager can add them.
Oklahoma controls who moves the waste. The state requires a license for anyone in the business of pumping, hauling, or disposing of waste from chemical toilets and similar holding tanks. Sand Springs itself runs the local end of the system, with its own treatment plant, about 138 miles of sewer main, and 22 lift stations.

Most Sand Springs deliveries happen within 24 to 48 hours once an order is confirmed. Three to five days of notice gives you better choice. For a downtown festival, a tournament, or a wedding, plan several weeks out, and remember the City wants the event paperwork 45 days ahead.
Five habits that make delivery easy:
Prime Dumpster covers all of Sand Springs, from the downtown triangle and the Charles Page Boulevard industrial strip to Angus Acres, Prattville, River West, and the newer neighborhoods on the north hills. We also reach the surrounding communities, including Tulsa, Sapulpa, Prue, Mannford, Berryhill, Keystone Lake, Skiatook, and Jenks, so a project that moves between Tulsa and Creek County still runs on one schedule.
A standard unit averages $199–$349 for a three-day rental and an accessible unit averages $200–$300. Deluxe models run $300–$400, handwashing stations $150–$250, and restroom trailers start at $1,500. Unit count, rental length, and cleaning frequency shape the total, which your account manager confirms in a free quote.
Begin at one unit per 50 guests for a four-hour event, then add 15 to 20 percent when alcohol is served. Long festival days and summer heat push that higher. Public events need accessible units in the mix, and the City asks you to list how many you are providing.
Oklahoma follows the federal construction standard. A crew of 20 or fewer needs one toilet, and larger crews need one toilet seat and one urinal for every 40 workers. Keep units close to the work and book weekly cleaning. Your account manager will adjust the count as the crew changes.
Weekly service is the default. The driver pumps and rinses the tank, sanitizes the interior, and restocks paper and hand sanitizer. In an Oklahoma summer, or at a busy multi-day event, two or three visits a week is far better. Tell your account manager how heavily the units will be used.
No. A unit on your own yard, business lot, or fenced job site needs no City permit. Approval is needed once the unit sits on public space, a City street, or a City facility, which Sand Springs handles through its event application. Your account manager can help you work out which applies.
A standard unit is a narrow single stall with a toilet, urinal, and sanitizer. An accessible unit is wider, opens at ground level, adds grab bars, and gives a wheelchair room to turn. Public events should include at least one, and the City's event form counts them separately from standard units.
Weekend bookings are written as three-day rentals, so Friday through Sunday usually costs about what one day would. A standard unit averages $199–$349 and a deluxe flushing unit $300–$400. Delivery, pickup, and extra cleaning visits are added on, and your account manager will confirm the weekend total.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order, choose units that handle the heat, and give you a plain number before anything is loaded.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
