At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Miramar, Florida, a long south Broward County city that runs from the eastern neighborhoods out to the newer western communities and the regional park. Construction work follows that westward spread, with residential building, commercial projects and road jobs all active. Event work fills the amphitheater, the town center and the park system. Miramar is one of the few cities in the region to name portable toilets in its own rules, and it does so in an unexpected place: the operating rules every approved farmers' market has to adopt.
What you pay depends on the rental period, the unit count, the service frequency, the delivery distance and the model. Below are the Miramar rates, the two Florida counts that set the number, the city rule that names portable toilets, and the Broward County duties behind the service.
Miramar is long from east to west, and that geography is the first thing that shows in a quote. A site out past the regional park is a longer run than one near the eastern boundary, and on a short booking that difference is visible. On a long booking it disappears into the rental period.
Service frequency is the main lever on the unit count. The Florida building site count works from one visit a week. Two visits a week halve the units needed, and three or more cut them to a third. On a Miramar residential subdivision with a large crew that trade is worth pricing both ways before you decide.
Food service is the third factor, and it is specific to the market and festival work this city does well. Where food is served, Florida wants a handwashing facility rather than sanitizer alone, so a market booking usually carries at least one station alongside the cabins.
Rental length is the remaining factor. Delivery and collection are each a trip across a long city, which weighs more heavily on a single weekend than on a multi-month build.

Request a Quote NowFlorida sets the number with two tables, and the right one depends on the job.
A Miramar job site uses the state building site count, which assumes weekly service. One restroom handles up to ten people, two handle twenty, three handle thirty, four handle forty, five handle fifty, and one more comes with each further ten. Two visits a week halve the figure, and three or more divide it by three. The duty reaches commercial and home building sites alike, for the whole of the build, whenever workers are on site, and the unit needs no state permit at a building site or a temporary location. A builder working several Miramar sites gets them treated as one, with units shared up to three hundred feet from any site served, which fits a subdivision build well.
A Miramar event uses the state event table, which applies only where no local or state code sets a minimum number of toilet facilities. Miramar sets no number. Its health, sanitation and nuisance rules, its solid waste rules and its zoning code were all read and none carries a restroom ratio, and the Broward County health office publishes none either. So the state table governs. It reads the crowd and the hours together and assumes a daily visit. The four-hour column puts two hundred fifty Miramar guests at two units, five hundred at four, a thousand at seven, two thousand at thirteen, five thousand at thirty-two and ten thousand at sixty-three. A thousand over six hours takes eight units, and two thousand over eight hours takes fifteen. Two visits a day halve that figure, and three or more divide it by three.
Handwashing is a federal duty everywhere in the country. The federal construction sanitation standard requires wash basins at every place of work, with a narrow carve-out for mobile crews, and its national toilet table gives one facility for up to twenty workers, one seat and one urinal per forty above twenty, and one per fifty past two hundred workers. Florida then adds its own ratio of one handwashing facility for every ten restrooms required, but only at special events and remote locations where food is served or picnic areas are provided, and sanitizer may stand in everywhere except where food is actually served. That is why a Miramar market or festival booking looks different from a Miramar job site booking.
The Standard Porta Potty is what the Florida building site count assumes on a Miramar subdivision or road job. The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is wider, enters level and carries grab bars, and any park or town center booking the public can reach should include one. The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty suits a wedding or a guest-facing event at the amphitheater. The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink keeps the basin inside the cabin. The Solar Porta Potty lights itself out on the western sites where power is not yet in. The Handwashing Station is the unit a Miramar farmers' market most often needs, for the reason set out below. The Restroom Trailer gives several plumbed, air-conditioned stalls in one footprint for a long contract or a formal event. Our porta potty options page shows the range, and your account manager puts the mix together.
On private ground in Miramar, with the property owner's agreement, nothing covers the unit itself, and Florida asks for no permit at a building site or a temporary location.
Then there is the city rule that names portable toilets, and it is a demand signal rather than a restriction. Miramar's land development code requires every approved farmers' market to adopt an established set of operating rules covering its governance, hours, maintenance, insurance and security, and the appointment of a market manager. Three items have to be in those rules: refuse disposal with sufficient trash and recycling receptacles within the market area, litter removal within the market boundaries, and access to adequate sanitary facilities, including restrooms and portable sinks and toilets. In other words, a Miramar market cannot write its operating rules without answering the restroom question, and portable units are named as a way to answer it. If you are standing up a market here, that paperwork and our quote belong in the same week.
For a unit on a street, a sidewalk or in a city park, the answer is a conversation with the city rather than a published counter transaction. Plan a Miramar unit onto the lot or the approved event footprint, and your account manager will put anything unavoidable to the city in writing before delivery. An unpublished administrative route may exist, so nobody should promise a street spot in advance.
Two Broward County duties then sit behind the service, and both fall on the supplier rather than on you. The county health rules name the furnishing or provision of temporary or portable privies as an activity the county health department may permit, with that permit ending in September each year and barred from being handed to anyone else. The county's pollution control rules define sludge to include waste from a portable toilet and make it unlawful to move it without a licensed waste transporter, enforced across every city in the county by the public works and environmental services department. Ask your account manager which permits stand behind your order.
Start with firm level ground inside the property line that a service vehicle can reach without blocking a travel lane or a site entrance. Keep the cabin clear of food service and drinking water and turn the door off the main walking line. On the newer western sites the ground is flat and holds water, so a hard pad under the unit is worth the small effort.
At a market or a festival the placement question changes shape. Units need to sit close enough to be useful and far enough from food stalls to be acceptable, with the handwashing station where people will actually reach it. That is a layout conversation and your account manager will work it through with you.
A Miramar service visit covers pumping the tank, washing the inside, restocking paper and sanitizer, and checking the latch and the vent. Weekly is the baseline because that is the frequency the Florida building site count assumes, and twice weekly halves the units the state requires. Your account manager puts the agreed rhythm in writing.
The waste has a controlled destination. Broward County's pollution control rules put the tank contents in the sludge class, so only a licensed waste transporter may move them, and the small-volume exemption is far below a service load. The Florida Department of Health office for Broward County, on 954-412-7335, treats an improperly maintained privy as a sanitary nuisance.
One Florida document is written on our side of the order. A signed service contract with the dates, the unit count, the service frequency and the removal date goes to the state at least one working day ahead of a Miramar event. Prime Dumpster prepares it, so ask us for it with the quote.

Standard cabins for a Miramar job site are usually available within a day or two, allowing for the run west. Event stock takes longer, because market and festival weekends draw on the same handwashing stations and flushing cabins across the county.
From here we cover the south Broward County and north Miami-Dade County line, including Hialeah Gardens, Miami Gardens, Cooper City, Miami Lakes, Hialeah and Davie, and we reach Weston, Doral, Hollywood and Plantation on longer runs. Pembroke Pines sits right alongside us and we serve it daily, though we have left a number off that pair rather than publish one we cannot measure consistently in both directions.
A standard cabin for a Miramar booking runs $199 to $349 and the accessible model $200 to $300. Flushing and sink cabins each sit in the $300 to $400 range. Solar comes in at $500 to $600, a station at $150 to $250, and a Miramar trailer starts at $1,500. Your account manager confirms the period, the visits and the run west.
Florida's event table applies, since Miramar sets no ratio of its own. On daily service, a Miramar crowd of two hundred fifty over four hours needs two units, five hundred needs four and a thousand needs seven. Twice-daily service halves it. Your account manager reads the column.
Florida's building site count governs on a Miramar site: one restroom up to ten people, two up to twenty, three up to thirty, four up to forty, five up to fifty, then one more per further ten. Two visits a week halve the result. Wash basins are required in their own right by federal rules.
Weekly servicing is the baseline and the assumption behind the Florida count. A Miramar visit pumps the tank, washes the interior and restocks the consumables. Larger Miramar subdivision jobs often run twice weekly, which halves the required unit count, and your account manager records the pattern.
On private ground in Miramar, Florida, with the owner's agreement, no permit covers the unit, and the state asks for none at a building site or temporary location. A street or park placement has to be cleared with the city first. Your account manager will raise it with the city on your behalf.
Width, level entry, grab bars and turning space are the accessible cabin's differences from the standard one, drawn from federal accessibility guidance. The standard cabin is narrower, and in Miramar it prices lower. For a public Miramar event, order at least one accessible unit from the start.
Across one Miramar weekend a standard cabin sits near the floor of $199 to $349, in on Friday and out on Monday. A flushing cabin for a Saturday reception is $300 to $400, and a market weekend usually adds a station. Your account manager quotes it as one figure.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. Say whether food will be served and the count comes back with the station Florida wants alongside it.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
