Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Brunswick
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Brunswick, Georgia, and the Golden Isles communities around it. Units serve port and highway construction along Highway 17 and the I-95 interchanges, dock and marina work along the East River, home repairs in Old Town and Urbana, shrimp and seafood festivals downtown, and every sort of outdoor event from a church fish fry to a marsh-front wedding.
What you pay turns on the unit you pick, how many you need, how long you keep them, and how often a truck comes out to service them. Below you will find our price ranges, the counts Georgia expects you to hit, the City permits that apply here, and how to get your units delivered on time.
Every range above assumes a standard three-day rental, which is how most Brunswick event orders are written. A Saturday-only festival and a full weekend festival usually come out at the same number, so there is no reason to squeeze your dates.
Job sites price differently. A build along the Highway 341 corridor or a long dock repair is normally billed in four-week cycles with service visits built in, and the weekly cost drops sharply once you get past the first month.
Service visits matter more here than in a lot of places. Georgia puts a floor of one visit every seven days on every unit, and the state event planning table assumes daily service. A hot Glynn County August or a heavy crowd pushes you to the busier end of that.
Access and distance also show up in the quote. A unit on a paved lot near the street is fast to set and fast to service. A unit down a sand track, out on a marsh edge, or behind a locked gate takes longer, and barrier island deliveries add drive time. Your account manager will price all of it with you.

Under state rules, any gathering of more than fifty people lasting more than two hours counts as a special event, so the table reaches smaller gatherings than most people expect. Our porta potty calculator gives you a fast starting number, and your account manager can match it to the Georgia table before you book.
The right unit depends on who uses it and how long they are there. All the choices sit on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty covers most jobs. It holds a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder, and hand sanitizer, and it works for crews, yard projects, and small gatherings.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty has ground-level entry, a wide door, grab bars, and turning room for a wheelchair. Add at least one to any event open to the public.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flushing bowl and far better odor control, which matters in coastal heat and at guest-facing events.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink builds a sink, soap, and a mirror into the stall, so guests can wash up without hunting for a second station.
The Solar Porta Potty powers its light and fan from the sun. It earns its place on marsh and pine tracts, rural Glynn County lots, and evening events with no outlet nearby.
The Handwashing Station is a free-standing sink with fresh water, soap, and towels. State rules describe exactly that setup, and you want one at every food area.
The Restroom Trailer brings several stalls, running water, and climate control. It is the pick for weddings, company events, and sites you hold for months.
Not sure yet? Tell your account manager about your guests or your crew and they will put the mix together.
On private ground, like your own yard, a driveway, or a fenced job site, you normally will not need a City permit in Brunswick. Public ground is a different matter, and the city code here is strict about it.
Streets, sidewalks and squares: Brunswick's street rules make it unlawful to place any temporary obstruction on a street, sidewalk, square, lane, or alley without written permission from the City Manager first. A unit that is approved for a street has to carry a red light on each side and each end from dark until daylight. Anything that encroaches past your lot line onto public ground has to come out within 24 hours once the City Marshal gives notice. Start with City Hall at 912-267-5500.
Events: You need a City event permit to hold a public gathering in a park or square with 100 or more people, to use a City building or ballfield, or to use City property in a way that blocks traffic or sidewalks. The application goes in at least five days ahead, and the City has five working days to decide. The plan you file has to say whether portable toilets will be on site and describe your sanitation needs, so the unit count is part of the paperwork, not an afterthought. Outdoor events run between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and a parade cannot block a street or intersection for more than an hour. The City event page also prices City services you can add, with barricades listed at $50-150 for one to twelve units and park electrical at $25.
Food vendors: Vendors serving food work through Glynn County Environmental Health, at 1725 Reynolds Street, Suite 200 in Brunswick, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone is 912-279-2940. State rules define a portable handwashing fixture as a stand with fresh water, soap, and disposable towels, which is exactly what you should put beside a food booth.
Not sure which office owns the ground you have in mind? Your account manager can point you to the right one before delivery day.
Where the unit stands decides how well it holds up through the week.
Pick firm, level ground. Coastal sand and soft marsh edges swallow a unit and can bog a service truck, so stay on compacted ground or put down a mat. Leave the driver a clear lane with no low limbs, tight gates, or parked cars.
Keep units at least 15 feet from food service, and well away from tidal creeks, drainage ditches, and storm inlets. On a job site, set them within about 200 feet of the work. At an event, break them into two or three groups rather than one long row, and put accessible units on flat, solid footing.
Georgia sets the service floor, not the supplier. Under state rules, property owners, employers, and event sponsors are responsible for making sure units get serviced by a certified portable sanitation company at least once every seven days, and more often when use demands it. Each service visit means sanitizing the seat and urinal, pumping the tank, recharging it with odor control, and restocking paper. Every unit must show the servicing company's name and phone.
Waste does not stay on site. State rules require portable sanitation waste from tank trucks to be disposed of at a facility regulated by Georgia's Environmental Protection Division, and the hauling company has to hold a waste removal and disposal permit from the county board of health, renewed each year, with the permit number lettered at least two inches high on both sides of the truck. Your account manager can confirm your service schedule and walk through placement with you.

Most Brunswick porta potty orders can be on site within 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days of notice lets us match the right units to the job. For a spring festival, a wedding weekend on the islands, or a holiday parade, give us several weeks, because the whole coast books at once.
These five habits keep a delivery smooth:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery across the City of Brunswick and the Glynn County and Golden Isles communities nearby, including St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Dock Junction, Country Club Estates, Sterling, Darien, Hinesville, Pooler, and Savannah. Whether your project sits downtown, out near the port, or along a causeway, we build the delivery, service, and pickup around your dates.
A standard unit averages $199–$349, and an ADA-compliant unit averages $200–$300. Deluxe flushing and sink units run $300–$400, solar units $500–$600, and restroom trailers start at $1,500. Your number moves with the unit count, the rental length, and how often they are serviced. Your account manager confirms it in your free quote.
Georgia publishes a table by crowd size and hours. Five hundred guests over four hours comes out at five units, and a thousand guests at four hours comes out at eight. Subtract one for each plumbed toilet on site, add 25 percent for alcohol, and round up. Your account manager will run your numbers.
Georgia follows the federal construction counts. One toilet covers a crew of 20 or fewer, with one more for every 40 workers above that and one more for every 50 past 200. Georgia also says shifts longer than eight hours should double the units. Tell your account manager your crew size and shift length.
Georgia sets a floor of one service visit every seven days, and more when use calls for it. A visit means sanitizing the seat and urinal, pumping the tank, recharging odor control, and restocking paper. The state event table assumes daily service. Your account manager will set a schedule that fits your crowd or crew.
Usually not. A unit on your own yard, driveway, or fenced job site needs no City of Brunswick permit. Public ground is different. Placing anything on a street, sidewalk, square, lane, or alley takes written permission from the City Manager first. Your account manager can help you work out which applies.
A standard unit is a compact single stall with a toilet, urinal, and sanitizer. An accessible unit is wider, with flat ground-level entry, grab bars, and floor room to turn a wheelchair. Georgia expects event units to meet the state accessibility code. Units used only by a work crew are exempt.
Our ranges cover a standard three-day rental, so a weekend is the normal unit of measure. A standard unit averages $199–$349 and a deluxe flushing unit averages $300–$400. Handwashing stations average $150–$250. Your account manager confirms the window, the delivery slot, and the pickup time.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order to the Georgia table, set the service visits, and give you a clear number on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
