Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Smyrna
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Smyrna, Georgia, and the inside-the-perimeter Cobb County communities around it. Teardown and rebuild construction on the older streets, apartment and mixed-use work along Atlanta Road and Spring Road, races and festival events around Market Village and the city's parks, and crews on the Silver Comet corridor all keep units moving here.
What you pay turns on the unit, how many you need, the rental length and the service schedule. Below are the ranges, the Georgia table that actually sets your count, the Smyrna permit route, and what helps us deliver fast.
Those ranges are for a standard three-day rental. Four things shape your own figure in Smyrna.
Georgia's servicing rules shape event quotes more than anything else. The state table that sets your unit count assumes the units are serviced every single day, so an event order carries daily visits rather than one. On a job site the floor is once every seven days, which is a very different cost.
Rental length is next. Weekend orders price across three days. Long builds move onto monthly cycles.
Shift length matters on Smyrna job sites in a way it does not everywhere. Georgia bases the construction count on the maximum workers on a regular eight hour shift, and says that shifts running longer than eight hours should double the number of units. If your crew works ten-hour days, that is a real change to the order.
Last, the site. Teardown lots on Smyrna's older streets are often narrow with tight access, and the state requires that a unit stay reachable by a service truck at all times. A spot the truck cannot get to is not a usable spot, however convenient it looks.

Request a Quote NowGeorgia publishes its own event table, which makes this more precise here than in most states. Note first what counts as an event: any temporary activity drawing more than fifty people who gather for more than two consecutive hours outdoors or under temporary cover. That is a low bar, and it catches a lot of neighborhood gatherings.
One more Georgia point that is worth knowing before you book, because it is a duty on you rather than on us. The state puts the responsibility for getting units serviced on the property owner, the employer or the event sponsor, and it requires event sponsors and construction site owners to be able to show proof of a service contract with a certified portable sanitation company. In practice that means your rental paperwork is also your compliance paperwork, so keep it with your permit file.
Start with our porta potty calculator, then let your account manager work the Georgia table and its adjustments properly for your event.
Pick for the user and the length of the job. All the options sit together on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty covers most Smyrna work. Toilet, urinal, paper and sanitizer in a shell built for daily crew use.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty has a level entry, a wide door, grab bars and turning room inside. Georgia's accessibility requirements mean any public event needs one.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes, which is the difference between a guest tolerating a unit and not noticing it. Weddings and company events are its place.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts a sink, soap and mirror inside the unit, which works well at family gatherings.
The Solar Porta Potty lights and vents itself from solar power, useful for evening events and lots with no power connected.
The Handwashing Station carries fresh water, soap and towels. Georgia treats the grey water from one of these as sewage, so it gets pumped and hauled like everything else rather than tipped out on site.
The Restroom Trailer brings several stalls, running water and climate control, which earns its cost through a Georgia summer.
Not sure what the mix should be? Give your account manager your numbers and hours and they will build it.
For the unit itself on private ground, no. A unit in your yard, on a teardown lot or on private parking in Smyrna needs no city permit.
Races, runs and rides: Smyrna routes these through the Police Department's Special Operations Division on Atlanta Road, reachable on 678-631-5250. There is a non-refundable $250 administrative fee due when you submit, your route has to come off the department's approved list, and the Fire Department's EMS director has to approve your medical plan. Two of the required items need proof at least 30 days before the event. Your plan then goes to Police, Fire, Public Works, Parks and Recreation and Community Relations, partly to check it does not clash with another event on the same day.
Other events and anything in a street: the city handles permitting, licensing and zoning through its online portal rather than over a counter, so start with Community Development on 678-631-5387 and describe what you are doing. For questions about a specific stretch of road or right of way, Public Works is the office to call, on 770-431-2850.
Health side: Georgia's portable sanitation rules are enforced locally by Cobb County Environmental Health, part of Cobb and Douglas Public Health, which has an office here in Smyrna. They are also who food vendors deal with for a temporary event permit, and that permit brings its own handwashing requirements for the booth.
If you are unsure which of those calls to make first, your account manager can walk you through it before the delivery is scheduled.
Georgia is unusually specific about placement, and the rules pull in two directions at once, so it is worth planning rather than improvising.
Units have to go as close as practical to where the people actually are, and at the same time as far from the food service area as possible. On a compact site like Market Village or a park green, squaring those two is the real design problem, and it is usually solved by splitting the units into two or three smaller banks rather than one row.
The state also requires units to be reachable by a service truck at all times during an event, and makes user safety a primary consideration in the placement. So think about the truck route and the walking route together.
Beyond that, the usual applies. Firm, level ground. Clear of storm drains and creek channels. Out of the way of a loaded truck reversing on a narrow Cobb County street.
On servicing, Georgia sets a floor of at least once every seven days, and more often as usage requires, with the event table assuming daily visits. A service visit means a sanitizing solution used on the urinal and toilet seat, the waste removed, the container recharged with an odor controlling solution, and the paper restocked.
There is one thing the state puts squarely on the property owner: making sure the unit is only used for human waste. Commercial waste, grease and hazardous chemicals must not go into a unit, which matters on a job site where a bucket of something is looking for a home.
Where the waste goes is also fixed. Waste pumped into a tank truck must be taken to a facility regulated by the state environmental protection division, and the company has to keep a manifest or route sheet for twelve months showing who the waste came from and when and where each unit was serviced. Your account manager can confirm your service days and the disposal arrangement for your order.

Most Smyrna deliveries happen within 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days of notice lets us set the right units and the right service rhythm, which matters here because an event order means daily visits. For a race weekend, a festival or a wedding, book several weeks out, since the whole metro competes for the same inventory from spring through autumn.
Georgia summers are the other scheduling factor. Heat and humidity both push toward extra visits, so if your job runs through July and August, build that into the plan rather than adding it later.
Five things that make a delivery go smoothly:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery throughout Smyrna and the surrounding Cobb County and north Fulton communities, including Marietta, Mableton, Vinings, Austell, Powder Springs, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven and the west side of Atlanta. Whether your project is a teardown off Concord Road, an apartment build near the Battery, or an event at Taylor-Brawner Park, we plan delivery, servicing and pickup around your dates.
Standard units average $199–$349 and ADA-compliant units average $200–$300. Deluxe flushing and sink units run $300–$400, and restroom trailers start at $1,500. Those are three-day figures. An event order also carries daily servicing under Georgia rules, which your account manager will build into the quote.
Georgia publishes a table keyed to crowd size and hours. Five hundred guests for four hours needs 5 units, and 1,000 needs 8. Then subtract one for each plumbed toilet on site, add 25 percent for alcohol, and round up if your crowd falls between rows. Anything over fifty people for two hours counts as an event.
Start with the federal count: 1 toilet for a crew of 20 or fewer, then 1 toilet and 1 urinal per 40 workers, less any plumbed toilets on site. Then apply Georgia's shift rule, which doubles the number of units where shifts run longer than eight hours. Your account manager will size it.
Georgia requires at least one service every seven days on a job site, and more often as use demands, while the event table assumes daily servicing. Each visit sanitizes the urinal and seat, removes waste, recharges the container with an odor controlling solution and restocks paper. Your account manager sets your schedule.
No. A unit on your own lot, yard or job site in Smyrna needs no city permit. Races and public events need a city permit, and anything placed in a street or right of way needs clearing with Public Works first. Your account manager can point you at the right office before delivery.
A standard unit is sized for one person to step up into. An ADA unit has a ground-level entry, a wider door, grab bars and enough floor space to turn a wheelchair. Georgia asks for accessible units at public events under the state accessibility code. A site used only by a work crew is exempt from that rule.
Standard units average $199–$349 across a three-day weekend, so a single day costs close to all three. For an event the bigger factor is daily servicing, which Georgia's own count assumes, so a weekend quote normally includes three visits. Your account manager will confirm the price and delivery window.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will run the Georgia table and its adjustments for you, set the service schedule the rules require, and give you a clear price on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
