Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Clinton Township
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Clinton Township, Michigan, and the rest of central Macomb County. Construction and roadwork along Hall Road and Gratiot, subdivision builds and home additions, ball tournaments at the township parks, car shows and church festivals, and summer events beside the Clinton River all keep portable toilets moving here.
Your price depends on which units you order, how many, how long they stay, and how often a driver services them. Below you'll find local ranges, the counts Michigan expects, the approvals that apply in a township, and how quickly delivery can be scheduled.
The ranges above reflect a standard three-day rental. A Saturday graduation party and a full weekend usually quote the same, so most customers keep the whole window.
Construction orders run on four-week cycles that include a weekly cleaning. On a build that lasts a season, the weekly cost eases the longer the units stay.
Season matters in Macomb County. Demand concentrates between May and September, when tournament weekends, festivals, and outdoor work all land at once. Winter rentals are easier to place, though units on a frozen lot still need a clear, plowed path for the service truck.
Access fills in the rest. A drop on a paved commercial lot is quick. A unit behind a gated yard, at the back of a subdivision under construction, or along a park trail takes more time on every trip. Your account manager can compare a couple of placements with you.

One exception is worth knowing. A mobile crew that can reach nearby toilets with the transport it already has is outside that state rule, though most crews on a fixed site are not.
Our porta potty calculator gives you a quick starting count. Your account manager will then match it to the Michigan rule or your guest list.
Pick by who will use the unit and for how long. Our porta potty options page lays out all seven side by side.
The Standard Porta Potty covers most work, with a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder, and hand sanitizer. It fits crews, weekend projects, and modest gatherings.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty gives a level entry, a wide door, grab bars, and turning room for a wheelchair. Order one any time your gates are open to the public.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flush and better odor control, which guests notice at a wedding or an open house.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts a sink, soap, and a mirror inside the same unit, a help at family parties and near a food line.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its light and fan on solar power, useful on a park trail project or an evening event with no outlet nearby.
The Handwashing Station is a stand-alone sink with clean water, soap, and towels. County food rules make one essential wherever vendors are serving.
The Restroom Trailer brings several stalls, running water, and heating and cooling, a strong fit for weddings, corporate days, and long-running sites.
Tell your account manager about the job and they'll set the mix for you.
A unit on ground you own or control, such as a driveway, yard, or fenced job site, does not need a Township permit. Public road right-of-way is where the steps begin, and here they work a little differently than in a city.
The Township does not own the roads. As the Township explains plainly, it has no jurisdiction over roads, and road questions go to the Macomb County Department of Roads at 586-463-8671.
Working in the right-of-way: For a commercial property, the County Department of Roads confirms whether you need a right-of-way permit. For a residential property, the Clinton Township Building Department handles it, and its number is 586-286-9323. Paving work needs its own application and a determination from Public Services, and nothing may start before approval.
Tents and temporary structures: The Building Department issues a temporary structure and tent permit, so if your event brings tents along with units, sort both at the same counter.
State highways: M, I, and US routes belong to the state, and non-standard use of that right-of-way needs an MDOT permit through the department's online gateway.
Food vendors: Macomb County wants the temporary food application and fee at least one full business day before the event, and a booth that files later will not be allowed to operate. Filing five or more business days ahead costs less. Each booth needs a hand wash station, which the County defines as a large insulated container with a spigot, warm water, soap, paper towels, and a big catch bucket. The county office is on Elizabeth Road in Mount Clemens and the number is 586-469-5236.
Unsure which office owns the ground you are eyeing? Your account manager can find the right office before delivery.
Placement decides how well the rest of the rental runs.
Put units on solid, level footing. Clay soil here holds water through spring, and a service truck that sinks costs you a trip. Keep a clear lane open, with no low branches, parked cars, or locked gates, and plow or salt the approach in winter.
Keep at least 15 feet between units and food service, and stay well back from the Clinton River, county drains, and storm inlets. On a job site, put units within about 200 feet of the work so breaks stay short.
Weekly service is standard, and summer weekends or a big crew usually justify a second stop. Michigan requires a serviced, stocked unit, so a regular visit is not optional on a construction site.
Michigan treats portable toilet waste as septage, which means the company servicing your units holds a state license and so does the truck itself. The load then goes to an authorized treatment plant set up to receive septage, or to a permitted land application site. Sewer service in this part of the county runs through the Macomb County Public Works Office, whose interceptor system carries flows for more than a million people and whose own offices sit on Dunham Road here in the township. Your account manager can confirm cleaning days and where your load ends up.

Most orders here arrive within 24 to 48 hours. Give us three to five days and we can line up the unit types, the cleaning days, and a drop point that works. Summer tournament and festival weekends fill first, so reserve those as soon as your date is set.
Five steps that keep the drop-off simple:
Prime Dumpster arranges delivery throughout Clinton Township, from the Hall Road corridor and Partridge Creek out to the neighborhoods near Cass and Garfield and the parks along the Clinton River. We also cover Mount Clemens, Sterling Heights, Macomb Township, Harrison Township, Fraser, Roseville, Shelby Township, Chesterfield, and Utica, so a job just over a township line gets the same delivery and service schedule.
Standard units in the township average $199–$349, with accessible units at $200–$300. Deluxe models sit at $300–$400, and restroom trailers open at $1,500. Unit count, rental length, and cleaning frequency set the final number, and summer demand can affect availability. Your account manager confirms it on a free quote.
Figure 1 unit per 50 guests over a four-hour event, then add 15 to 20 percent if drinks are poured. A 100-guest graduation party usually needs two units and a handwashing station. Include at least one accessible unit whenever the public is invited, and add capacity for an all-day event.
Michigan sets its own count rather than following the federal one. Crews of 1 to 20 need one toilet, 21 to 40 need two, and every additional 40 workers or part of 40 adds another. A jobsite with no sanitary sewer has to have chemical toilets. Your account manager sizes the order to your crew.
Weekly service is standard, and state rules require units to be serviced regularly and kept stocked with paper. The driver pumps the tank, cleans and sanitizes the interior, and refills supplies. Large crews and busy summer events usually need more frequent stops. Your account manager builds the schedule with you.
No. A unit on your own driveway, yard, or fenced work site in Clinton Township needs no permit. Approval is needed once it sits in the public road right-of-way, and that goes through the County for commercial frontage or the Township Building Department for residential. Your account manager can help you check.
A standard unit gives you a single compact stall. An accessible unit runs wider, with a level threshold, a door that opens fully, grab bars, and turning space inside. Public events should include at least one for every 20 units. Units reserved for a construction crew fall outside that requirement.
Weekend bookings use the same three-day window, so a Friday to Sunday rental lands near the price of a single Saturday. Expect $199–$349 for a standard unit, $300–$400 for a deluxe flushing model, and $150–$250 for a handwashing station. Your account manager pins down drop-off and pickup times alongside the price.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We'll size the order, set service days that fit the season, and give you a clear price on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
