Wood, drywall, shingles, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, brick, concrete, and ordinary renovation debris are all fine in a roll-off here.
The city's published list of what cannot go in a container is specific: no televisions, no liquid paint, no used motor oil, no antifreeze, no pesticides, no cleaning products, no refrigerators or other appliances containing refrigerant, no car tires, no automobile batteries, and no other household hazardous waste. Logan takes household hazardous waste free of charge at its own campus instead.
The construction and demolition area has its own refusals, and the city's rule of thumb is memorable: if it can blow away, it is not accepted there. Plastic, insulation, cardboard, hazardous waste, and general garbage are all out.
Two items have prices attached rather than a flat ban. Asbestos and contaminated material are accepted at a much higher rate and need to be arranged separately. An appliance that once held refrigerant is charged per unit unless it is certified and marked as having been legally evacuated, so get the tag before it goes in. If an item has you guessing, ask your account manager first.
