Lumber, drywall, roofing, flooring, carpet, cabinets, fixtures, fencing and general household junk are ordinary roll-off material in West Jordan.
The usual exclusions apply. Paint, solvents, fuel, motor oil, antifreeze, pressurized cylinders and asbestos stay out of a West Jordan container. Utah law bars lead acid batteries from public disposal facilities, so car and equipment batteries need a separate route.
Tires are a common question on West Jordan jobs. Salt Lake County's own landfill takes tires only from residents, and only in a separate pile, so keep them out of the container and ask about a tire route.
Household hazardous waste from a garage cleanout has a public drop-off at Trans-Jordan. That is a better route than hiding a few paint cans in a container load.
Tell your account manager what the job will produce, and anything that needs its own route is planned in.
