Porta Potty Rental in Ogden, UT 84404

Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty rentals throughout Ogden, Utah, the Weber County seat where historic 25th Street, the Ogden River Parkway and the Wasatch foothills meet. Downtown renovations, new apartment construction, utility and road work, street festivals, farmers markets, races, concerts and park reunions all need restrooms close by, and we coordinate portable toilets for Ogden builders and event organizers.

An Ogden price comes from the units, the crowd, the rental days and the service visits. Below are the ranges, a large Ogden event run through Utah's table, what the City's own event application asks about restrooms, and how much notice to give.

Portable Toilet Rentals in Ogden, Utah

Ogden's ranges assume three rental days. A street festival or a weekend race fits that window, while a downtown renovation or an apartment build that runs for months is priced monthly with weekly service in Ogden.

Downtown access is the first Ogden cost driver. Older blocks near 25th Street have tight alleys, limited curb space and busy sidewalks, so a unit may need an off-hours drop or a spot in a rear lot.

Event scale is the second. Ogden hosts gatherings that run from a few hundred people to many thousands, and a big crowd means more units, mid-event pumping and accessible cabins.

Elevation is the third. Foothill and canyon-edge sites east of the city get colder nights and more snow, so an Ogden winter job needs treated tanks.

Accessible cabins, flushing models, sinks, wash stations and extra visits each appear as a separate Ogden line, so your account manager can give you clear, upfront pricing before the order is placed.

How Many Porta Potties Do I Need in Ogden, UT?

Build the Ogden count around who will be on site:

  • Ogden construction: Utah adopts the federal job site toilet standard by reference. Twenty or fewer workers need one toilet, a larger Ogden crew needs a seat and a urinal for every 40, and at 200 workers or more it is a seat and a urinal for every 50.
  • Smaller Ogden events: roughly one unit for every 50 guests over four hours, adding 15 to 20 percent when alcohol is served.
  • Accessible units: about one in twenty at a public Ogden gathering.

The state plan in Utah covers state and local government workers along with most private employers, so an Ogden City crew is counted by the same table.

A large Ogden festival under the state table. Utah's temporary mass gathering rule applies once 1,000 or more people attend for two or more hours a day. For 10,000 people staying an average of seven hours, the seven-hour column gives 88 toilets. A beer garden raises that by 40 percent, to 123.2, which rounds up to 124. Five percent, or seven units, must be accessible and marked, and the rule requires 13 handwashing stations and 13 covered trash containers at one per ten toilets. It also starts with four drinking water stations and adds one for each 500 people above 1,000, which makes 22. Our porta potty calculator handles smaller Ogden events.

Which Porta Potty Is Right for Your Project in Ogden, UT?

A downtown street fair and a foothill home build need different restrooms. The full list is on our porta potty options page.

A Standard Porta Potty serves an Ogden renovation or utility crew with a seat, urinal, paper and sanitizer.

An ADA-Compliant Porta Potty offers level entry, a wide door, grab bars and turning room, and an Ogden gathering of 1,000 or more must include them.

A Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flush and a fresher cabin for an Ogden private party or open house.

A Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts a sink and mirror inside, a good fit for a wedding near the river parkway.

A Solar Porta Potty runs its own light and fan at a trailhead or a site without power.

A Handwashing Station stands alone with water, soap and towels, useful near food vendors and animal areas.

A Restroom Trailer gives a large Ogden reception or VIP area several stalls and running water.

Tell your account manager about the Ogden site and the crowd, and the order will fit both.

Do I Need a Permit for a Porta Potty in Ogden, UT?

A unit on private Ogden property, such as a driveway or a fenced build site, is normally a private matter. City property, streets and large crowds bring permits into play.

The City's event application asks for your restroom plan. Ogden's Special Event Application is due 45 days before the event. It is required for any event on Ogden City property when the public is invited, for any event that blocks streets or sidewalks, and for a private event of more than 200 people. Its restroom item tells organizers that if permanent facilities do not meet the mass gathering requirements, they must provide portable toilets and handwashing stations, list the quantities and show the locations on the event map. It also states that portable toilets cannot be within 100 feet of food and that the event must provide its own portable units. A certificate of insurance is required for every event.

Two thresholds, two sources. The City's form tells organizers to apply to the Weber-Morgan Health Department for a mass gathering permit when a public event has 500 people for over two hours, filed at least 30 days ahead. The health department's own regulation adopts the state rule, whose table starts at 1,000. If your Ogden event falls between 500 and 1,000, call Environmental Health at 801-399-7160 before you assume either answer.

Above 1,000. The state rule wants the application 15 days before the first advertisement and 30 days before the event, and a hauler permitted by the local health department.

Streets. For work in the public right of way, Ogden issues an Engineering Permit to licensed, insured and bonded contractors, and any traffic control has to follow an approved plan. Ask the Engineering Division at 801-629-8990 before setting a unit at the curb.

Your account manager can provide the quantities and locations for your Ogden event map.

Porta Potty Placement and Servicing in Ogden, UT

Choose firm, level ground the truck can reach without crossing a lawn or blocking an alley. Keep units off sidewalks, away from storm drains and the river, and within about 200 feet of the work on a job site.

For an event, the City's own form and the state rule agree on keeping toilets at least 100 feet from food, and the state rule adds no more than 300 feet from the activity, with every unit tied down.

Weekly service is the Ogden standard: pump, wash, sanitize and restock. At a state-regulated gathering, waste is removed at least every 24 hours, and units are serviced and removed within 48 hours of the close.

How Fast Can You Get a Porta Potty in Ogden, UT?

Most confirmed Ogden orders arrive within 24 to 48 hours. Give us three to five days to reserve the exact Ogden models you want. For a City event, start 45 days out so the restroom quantities are ready for the application.

Five Ogden tips:

  • Start 45 days ahead. The City application is due then.
  • Map every unit. The form asks for locations.
  • Keep 100 feet from food. The City and state both say so.
  • Check the 500 to 1,000 range. Call the health department.
  • Plan downtown drops. Alleys and curb space are tight.
