The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty has a level entry, grab bars, and turning room. Utah requires 5 percent of your gathering total to be accessible and never fewer than one, so it is a counted item, not an extra.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a proper flush and better odor control, which guests expect at a Main Street event or a resort function.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts a basin, soap, and mirror inside the stall, and it is the usual choice for a mountain wedding or a private party at a lodge.

On private ground, a driveway, a yard, or a fenced building site, Park City asks nothing for the unit itself. Approvals begin with events, and here they come from two directions at once.
The city permit: Park City's special event application asks whether your event will use city restroom facilities or bring its own restrooms and sanitary stations, and notes that either the Summit County Health Department or the Park City Building Department may require you to bring them. The application also carries a health department sign-off line, so the restroom plan is reviewed, not just recorded.
The county permit: the city application warns that an event expecting 500 or more people may need a mass gathering permit from Summit County. The county and the state rule define the gathering itself at more than 1,000 people, so treat 500 as the point where you ask the question and 1,000 as the point where the rule bites. The Summit County Health Department issues both the mass gathering permit and the liquid waste hauler permits, and takes calls on 435-333-1500.
Two deadlines, and one of them is unusual. A mass gathering application has to be in at least 15 days before the gathering is first advertised, and at least 30 days before the opening day. Advertising early without filing is the common mistake.
Your site plan has to name us. The application must show the location, type, and provider of restroom facilities, and must name the liquid waste hauler you have contracted. Your account manager can supply those details in the form the county expects.
A gathering cannot run more than 16 consecutive days without the health officer's approval, which matters for a long festival build.

Park City placement is about slope, snow, and the distances the state rule sets.
Find firm, level ground a truck can reach. Mountain lots rarely offer much of it, so a gravel pad, a plowed corner, or a leveled bench is worth arranging in advance. Steep approaches and switchback drives are the usual obstacle, and we would rather know before the truck is loaded.
Utah sets the distances at a gathering: units go at least 100 feet from any food service operation and no more than 300 feet from the grandstand, the spectators, or the activity, unless the health officer allows an exception because of the site. Every unit must also be secured against vandalism and weather by tie-downs, anchors, or something equally effective, which is sound practice on any exposed ridge here.
Keep units clear of streams, irrigation ditches, and storm inlets, and keep them off the snow stacking area so a plow does not bury or clip them.
A standard rental includes a weekly visit: pump the tank, wash the bowl and floor, wipe surfaces, and restock paper and sanitizer. At a gathering the state is stricter, requiring wastewater to be removed from each unit at least once every 24 hours, with each unit serviced and then removed within 48 hours of the finish. The rule also requires the operator to contract with a liquid waste hauler permitted by the local health department, and the removed wastewater goes to a wastewater treatment facility.
