Nearly all remodeling and cleanout debris loads without fuss. The limits come from Ohio rules and from what the receiving landfill refuses.
The landfill's own list is short and strict. It accepts general solid waste, including furniture, carpeting, and household trash, and it does not accept yard waste, liquids, or anything hazardous. That makes yard waste the one that catches people out on a landscaping job, because grass, leaves, and brush cannot ride along in a debris container here.
Ohio bars scrap tires from ordinary landfills and permits them only at specially licensed tire facilities, with a state registration needed above ten. Keep tires to one side and flag them at booking.
Paint, solvents, fuel, motor oil, antifreeze, pool chemicals, pesticides, and sealed drums of liquid all need separate handling. Violet Township runs a household hazardous waste collection day for exactly that material, with the next one on 31 October 2026 from 8 in the morning to noon. Asbestos is licensed removal work and travels its own route.
