Lumber, wallboard, shingles, flooring, cabinets, furniture, and general cleanout junk are all standard container loads. The limits come from Ohio rules and from the license each facility holds.
Ohio does not allow tires to be buried. Ohio EPA states plainly that landfill disposal of scrap tires is prohibited in the state, and that they go to licensed recovery and disposal facilities instead. Pull tires out before the container is loaded and we'll arrange them separately.
Facility licenses matter just as much. The landfill on Mechanicsburg Road is licensed for construction and demolition debris, which means household trash mixed into a remodel load has to travel to a different site. Keeping those streams apart avoids a rejected load.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos can't go in a standard container at all. Clark County Solid Waste District runs programs for household chemicals, electronics, and other specialty items, reachable at 937-521-2020.
Appliances with refrigerant, batteries, and mattresses all need their own handling. Mention them to your account manager at booking and they'll sort out where each one goes.
