Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Bainbridge Island
At Prime Dumpster we arrange porta potty rentals across Bainbridge Island, Washington, where one rule catches people out: the City's event paperwork reaches the companies supplying the event, not only the person hosting it. Units get scheduled for custom home construction and remodel work across the island, winery and farm events out along Day Road, community events and summer markets in Winslow, shoreline and trail projects near Eagle Harbor, and park work at Battle Point and Fort Ward.
The figure comes from the unit, the number of them, the length of the stay and the service interval. On an island there is a second factor: everything arrives by ferry or the long way around through Poulsbo, so the delivery window matters more here than almost anywhere in the region.
A three day booking is the shape of those ranges. Island construction work tends to run long, which moves onto a monthly rate and eases per week after the first cycle.
Island logistics are the real price driver. A cluster at a Day Road wedding needs a longer service window than a mainland job, because the truck has a sailing to make, and extra lead time is usually cheaper than a tight one.
Washington adds two things to every construction order in the state. Tepid wash water is required at every site, so a handwashing station belongs on the order from the start, and the state table steps up at eleven workers rather than twenty.
Site conditions finish the picture. Many island lots are narrow, wooded and on soft ground, so a firm pad and a straight approach are worth planning rather than assuming.

Our porta potty calculator gives a starting figure, and your account manager will check it against the venue before the ferry schedule is built around it.
Island work spans one stall on a wooded lot to a trailer at a vineyard wedding, all of it on the porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty fits a toilet, a urinal, paper and sanitizer into one stall and latches from within, as the state expects.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty widens out, sits level at the door, and carries grab bars with turning room, which matters on an island venue that has no accessible restroom of its own.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes and controls odor, and it is the usual choice for a Day Road wedding.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink carries sink, soap and mirror inside the stall, useful where a guest area has no water.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its own light and fan from a roof panel, the sensible answer on a wooded lot with no power.
The Handwashing Station is a basin on its own frame with clean water, soap and towels. Every island construction order carries one, because the state warm water rule reaches every site.
The Restroom Trailer lands as a trailer of private plumbed stalls with heat and air conditioning. It is the right call for a guest facing island event, and the only one that meets the state rule on a private place to express milk, a space the rule says cannot be a bathroom or a portable toilet.
Give your account manager the venue and the guest list and the mix follows.
On private ground you own or control, no permit attaches to the unit itself.
The island rule that catches people out reaches the vendors. The City's special events page makes the event organizer responsible both for the special event permit and for making sure every vendor holds appropriate business licensing. It then warns that a vendor applying for a City business license has to go through the standard approval process, which could take up to four or more weeks, and that the license must be in place before the vendor engages in business.
The City publishes a way around it, and it has three conditions. The City will drop the business license requirement for vendors where the event happens only once a year, even over consecutive days, the organizer holds a special event permit, and every vendor shows proof of a state business identifier. A separate exemption covers island based vendors whose yearly island income is small. If your event is annual, those three conditions are the route; if it recurs through the year, start the vendor licensing conversation early. Business Licensing takes that question on 206-780-8591.
Streets, sidewalks and even the air above them are inside the right of way. The City's right of way use page says all activities in the City right of way need a Public Works Engineering permit, and defines the right of way to include streets, walkways, sidewalks, bikeways, parking and the air rights above them. One of the three published permit types is long term use for an activity that will not further disturb the right of way once in place, which is written in terms that fit a unit simply set down.
And the applicant class opens up for an event. The form is normally completed by the contractor doing the work, but the City says in terms that for a right of way permit required for a special event, the applicant may be the organization hosting the event. That means a visiting event host is not locked out the way they are in some cities.
Who may empty the unit is a Kitsap County question, and Kitsap answers it differently from its neighbors. The Kitsap Public Health District's own 2026 environmental health fee schedule prices an initial pumper certification, an annual renewal covering the first truck, then a further charge for each additional truck. Across the whole schedule the only item with the word portable in it is a school building review, so the credential is written around on-site sewage systems rather than portable toilets. The district sits at 345 6th Street in Bremerton on 360-728-2235. Across the water in King County that same credential names portable toilet pumping outright, so a company working both sides meets two different descriptions of one job.
Food at an event is a county filing too. Kitsap temporary food permits are due 14 days ahead, a surcharge applies from 13 to 2 days out, and no permit is issued less than two business days before the event.
Your account manager will line the City and district contacts up for your date.
Plan the truck route first. The state rule says in terms that provisions must be made so service trucks have a clear approach and convenient access to the toilets being serviced, and a long private island driveway is a genuine constraint rather than a formality.
Keep units 15 feet or more from food service and well clear of Eagle Harbor, the shoreline bluffs, every creek and every storm inlet. On an island job the state keeps a unit inside 200 feet of each worker, with one on every third floor where a building goes up. For a farm or winery event, split the order into clusters along the guest route and give each accessible unit firm, level footing.
An island service call pumps the tank down, disinfects the seat and urinal, wipes out the interior and restocks the paper and seat covers. Washington caps the container at half its volume before the scheduled stop, which on a ferry dependent service run is a reason to size the order generously. A holding tank alone is not acceptable in this state unless it stands in a lockable private room.
On an island job the employer runs the shift opening inspection: every unit checked, a fault corrected at once, and the record kept on site 72 hours, with the prime contractor carrying it where employers share the ground.

Island deliveries need more notice than mainland ones. Plan on 48 hours where the mainland would take 24, and three to five days for the exact configuration. For a summer wedding or market weekend allow several weeks, and start the vendor licensing question earlier still if your event recurs.
Five habits that keep an island delivery clean:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty orders on Bainbridge Island and across the wider sound, including Bremerton, Lakewood, Oak Harbor, Puyallup, Port Angeles and Lacey. Those figures look long for a reason, and it is the water: Seattle is about seven miles away across the sound but roughly 93 by road around the south end, so the ferry is the practical route and Bremerton is the only city within an hour's drive. Winslow, Rolling Bay or down toward Fort Ward, the delivery, service and collection are planned around your dates.
A standard island unit is $199–$349 and an accessible unit $200–$300. Flushing and sink units are $300–$400 here, solar $500–$600, and a trailer opens at $1,500. A long island build is priced monthly. Ferry dependent timing can affect the service plan. Your account manager gives you a firm figure.
Plan one unit per 50 guests across about four hours and add 15 to 20 percent where alcohol is served. Island venues often have no plumbed restroom, so the portable order carries the whole event. Your account manager will allow for food service, accessible units and the guest route.
Washington writes a tighter table than the national one. One toilet covers ten workers or fewer, two covers eleven to 25, three to 40, four to 60 and five to 80, then one more per further 20. Once the house has working plumbed fixtures the state reduces the portable count.
Weekly is the baseline and the state caps it further: the holding container may not pass half its volume before the scheduled visit. Each stop empties it, disinfects the seat and urinal, wipes the interior and restocks paper and seat covers. Island service runs are planned around sailing times.
Not on private ground you own or control on Bainbridge Island. A city street, sidewalk or the air above it is inside the right of way and needs a Public Works Engineering permit. Your account manager can help you work out which permit type fits a unit that is simply set down.
A standard unit is one narrow stall with a toilet, a urinal and sanitizer. The accessible unit is wider, replaces the step with a level threshold and adds grab bars with wheelchair turning space. On an island venue with no accessible restroom of its own, that unit is doing real work.
A weekend already fits our quoted ranges, which rest on a three day booking. That makes a standard island unit $199–$349, a flushing unit $300–$400 and a handwashing station $150–$250. Your account manager confirms the Friday delivery sailing, any Saturday visit and the collection.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order against the state table, build the schedule around the sailings and give you a clear figure on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
