Most building and household debris loads with no trouble. The limits come from Colorado's rules and from what the receiving facility will take.
Colorado keeps a short, firm list of household material out of any permitted waste site. That list covers lead-acid batteries, used oil, waste tires, electronic devices and computers, and liquid waste or anything holding free liquids unless the facility is specifically approved for it. None of that belongs in a container.
Paint, solvents, fuel, antifreeze, pesticides and pool chemicals stay out as well, along with asbestos and anything pressurized. Most of those have a home nearby, which is the useful part: the City's own drop-off center takes paint, electronics, televisions and monitors, mattresses and box springs, foam and plastic film.
Asphalt shingles, drywall, lumber, cabinets, flooring and general cleanout junk are all fine. Concrete, brick and block are fine too, and they are usually cheaper when kept in a load of their own. If one item has you guessing, ask your account manager before it goes over the side.
