Most debris from a remodel, cleanout, or build can go in the container. Colorado law and the disposal sites that take your load set the limits.
Colorado has banned electronics from landfills since 2013. The state law covers electronic devices and their parts, including TVs, computers, and anything with a screen larger than four inches. Keep them out of your dumpster.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos don't belong in a standard dumpster either. Tires, used oil, batteries, propane tanks, ammunition, and fireworks also need to go elsewhere.
Appliances and mattresses can often be taken but usually carry extra fees, so list them when you book.
