in Bedford
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Bedford, Texas, and the Mid-Cities stretch of Tarrant County between Fort Worth and DFW Airport. The units serve remodels and infill construction along Harwood Road and Central Drive, warehouse and office work near Highway 121 and 183, church and school grounds, and the events that run through Boys Ranch Park and the Old Bedford School, from a 5K on city streets to a summer concert or a neighborhood block party.
Four things drive your cost: which unit you want, how many, how long, and how often a truck comes to service them. Below are our ranges, the counts that apply on a Texas job site, the permissions Bedford expects, and how to time the delivery.
Every figure in that table is based on a three-day rental, which suits the way most Bedford weekend events run. Keeping the unit from Friday through Sunday rarely costs more than a Saturday alone.
Job sites move to a monthly rhythm. A tenant build-out off Airport Freeway or a new-home pad in one of the older neighborhoods is usually quoted in four-week cycles with a weekly service stop included, and the weekly figure drops once there is more than one unit on site.
Heat is the North Texas factor. From June into September the inside of a unit climbs fast, and one service visit a week stops being enough for a working crew or a busy weekend. Extra visits are priced individually, so the schedule you choose shows up directly in the total.
Finally, access. A spot on hard ground beside a drive is quick to serve. A unit behind a locked gate, down a grass easement, or in a crowded lot adds time to every visit and that is reflected in the quote. Your account manager will explain each line for you.

Bedford itself treats any gathering of more than 100 people lasting over six hours as a mass gathering, which is a helpful planning line even though it is a permit threshold rather than a restroom ratio. Our porta potty calculator gets you a starting number quickly, and your account manager will check it against your real guest list or crew.
Pick by who uses the unit and for how long. Everything we carry is set out on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty is where most orders start. A single stall with a seat, a urinal, paper, and sanitizer covers trade crews, yard work, and smaller gatherings.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is the wide unit, flat at the threshold, with grab bars and turning room inside. Any Bedford event the public can attend should include one in each group.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes properly and vents better, which is the difference between tolerable and pleasant at a July wedding.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink keeps a basin, soap, and mirror inside the stall. Guests wash where they are instead of crossing a park.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its light and fan off a roof panel, which is what you want on a field, a trail project, or an evening event with no power nearby.
A Handwashing Station is a free-standing basin with clean water, soap, and towels. One belongs at every food booth and one near a working crew.
The Restroom Trailer is the upgrade for a wedding, a company event, or a long-running site: several stalls, running water, and air conditioning that earns its money in a Texas summer.
If two choices look close, tell your account manager who will be using them and they will settle it.
On your own land, a yard, a driveway, a fenced job site, a church parking lot you control, Bedford asks nothing for the unit itself. The rules begin at City property and City streets.
Renting a City park or pavilion: this is the one that catches people out, because Bedford names porta potties directly. The City's rental policies say that if you will bring in a food truck, a bounce house, or portable toilets during a rental, you have to describe it in writing beforehand and get written permission from the Special Events Manager. Sort that out when you book the site, not the week of the event.
Mass gatherings and street closures: a special event permit is required before a rental for any gathering of more than 100 people lasting over six hours where the public is invited, and for anything that temporarily restricts or closes part of a City street in the right-of-way. Block parties, bike rides, and 5K runs on city streets all land in that bracket. Event applications are filed through the City's online permit portal, and Planning and Zoning at 1805 L Don Dodson Drive can point you to the right form on 817-952-2105.
Tents and canopies: the Fire Marshal's own policy requires a permit for any tent, canopy, or air-supported structure of 400 square feet or more, keeps structures out of fire lanes, and asks you to contact the office at least 10 business days before any outdoor event.
Food vendors: food booths need a Tarrant County Public Health permit, and if your event has more than three food or beverage booths you file an event coordinator application at least 20 business days ahead. The county is clear that its permit is not permission to operate in a particular city, so you still clear the event with Bedford. The Environmental Health line is 817-248-6299.
Not sure which approval your event needs? Your account manager can tell you who to call before anything is scheduled.
Choosing the spot well is most of the job.
Set units on firm, level ground with a clear run for a truck. Bedford has a lot of mature trees and tight residential streets, so watch for low limbs over the approach and parked cars that leave no room for a service vehicle.
Hold them at least 15 feet away from food service and keep them clear of creeks, drainage swales, and storm inlets. On a job site, place them inside about 200 feet of the crew. At an event, spread the units into two or three groups and give the accessible ones a flat, hard path from the main walkway.
Summer deserves its own thinking. Face the door away from the afternoon sun where you can, put units in shade if any exists, and plan for more frequent service through the hottest months. A busy crew in August can fill a tank well before a weekly stop comes around.
A standard rental carries one service visit a week: the tank is pumped, the bowl and floor are washed, the surfaces wiped, and paper and sanitizer replaced. What comes out of Bedford units is handled under state rules. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires anyone hauling chemical toilet waste to be a registered sludge transporter, and the city's own sewage goes to the Trinity River Authority's Central Regional Wastewater System, a 495-acre plant on the West Fork of the Trinity that serves parts of 20 Metroplex cities. Your account manager can confirm your service days and the disposal arrangement.

Most Bedford orders are on site inside 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days of notice lets us match units to the job properly. For a spring festival, a holiday weekend, or an outdoor wedding, allow several weeks, because the whole Mid-Cities area books the same dates.
Five things keep a Bedford delivery clean:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery across Bedford and the Mid-Cities communities around it, including Hurst, Euless, Colleyville, North Richland Hills, Grapevine, Southlake, Haltom City, Richland Hills, Watauga, and Keller, and out to the DFW Airport corridor. Whether your site is a park pavilion, a church lot, or a commercial build, we fit the delivery, service, and pickup to your dates.
Standard units average $199–$349 and accessible units average $200–$300. Deluxe flushing and sink units run $300–$400, solar units $500–$600, and restroom trailers begin at $1,500. Unit count, rental length, and service frequency decide your figure, and your account manager will put a number on it in a free quote.
Allow 1 unit for every 50 guests over about four hours, plus another 15 to 20 percent if you serve alcohol. A 400-guest festival usually works out at eight or nine units. Add a handwashing station at the food, and at least one accessible unit per cluster. Your account manager will confirm it.
Texas follows the federal construction rule. A crew of 20 or fewer needs one facility. Beyond 20 workers it becomes one toilet seat and one urinal for every 40, and beyond 200 workers one of each for every 50. Let your account manager know whenever the crew size changes so the count keeps up.
Weekly with a standard rental. The driver pumps the tank, washes the bowl and floor, wipes down the surfaces, and restocks paper and sanitizer. Through a Bedford summer most crews and any two-day event step up to two or three visits. Your account manager will set a schedule that fits the work.
On private ground, no. A unit in your own yard, driveway, or fenced job site needs nothing from the City of Bedford. A City park or pavilion rental is different: bringing portable toilets in needs written permission from the Special Events Manager beforehand. Your account manager can help you line that up.
A standard unit is a narrow stall with a seat, urinal, and sanitizer. The accessible model is wider, has no step at the entrance, adds grab bars, and leaves turning space for a wheelchair. Public events should carry one in every group of units. Crew-only units on a closed job site are exempt.
A weekend is the standard booking, because our ranges all assume three days. Plan on $199–$349 for a standard unit, $300–$400 for a deluxe flushing one, and $150–$250 for a handwashing station. Your account manager will lock in the drop time, the service stop, and the pickup.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order, set the service days, and quote it while you are on the phone.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
