Fort Worth, Texas is the fifth-largest city in the state and part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. With a population of over 874,000 people as of 2019, Fort Worth has seen an increase in its population since 2010, when it was estimated to have 741,206 inhabitants. Located at the northern end of the sprawling metroplex that includes Dallas, Arlington, and other cities in North Central Texas, it is known for its western heritage and modern culture.
