San Antonio, Texas is the second largest city in the state of Texas and seventh most populous city in the United States. It has a rich cultural history, with many historic sites to explore. The Alamo is located here, as well as four other Spanish missions which are designated World Heritage Sites.
The economy of San Antonio is based on tourism, military, government civil service, health care and oil/gas industries. There are numerous public parks for recreation such as Brackenridge Park and Six Flags Fiesta Texas amusement park. Additionally, there are a variety of museums and galleries including The Witte Museum and the McNay Art Museum. San Antonio also hosts many annual events like the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and Poteet Strawberry Festival.
With its diverse population and multiple attractions, it’s no wonder that San Antonio continues to be one of America’s favorite cities.
