Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Corpus Christi
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Corpus Christi, Texas, and the Coastal Bend communities around the bay. Industrial construction near the port and the refineries, street and drainage work, beach events on the islands, festival weekends downtown, and fishing tournaments all keep portable restrooms busy here.
Your price depends on the units you pick, how many you need, how long the rental runs, and how often a truck services them. Below are the ranges, the counts to plan for, the City offices that handle permits, and what delivery looks like on the coast.
Each range above is written for a standard three-day rental, which is how a weekend event is normally booked. Industrial and construction rentals price on a four-week cycle with weekly cleaning included, so tell your account manager the real duration of the job.
The coast adds costs that inland cities don't have. Salt air and heat are hard on units, so a long rental near the water needs closer attention. Sand is the other factor, since a unit set on soft beach sand needs a firm base and a plan for how the service truck reaches it without getting stuck.
Hurricane season shapes the calendar from June through November. When a storm is in the Gulf, units have to be secured or pulled, and demand jumps right after landfall for cleanup crews. If your project runs through those months, talk to your account manager about a tie-down and pickup plan up front.
Then there's the mix. A pipe crew of a dozen needs one standard unit. A bayfront festival needs standard units, accessible units, and handwashing stations at every food booth, and a hot weekend usually earns a second visit. Your account manager prices each piece separately.

Request a Quote NowCount the people and the hours, then check whether the public is coming. Our planning numbers:
Corpus Christi doesn't publish a restroom ratio for events, so the planning ratios above are your guide. If you're serving food, Texas health rules require conveniently located toilets at the event along with a proper handwashing setup for the vendors, which means toilets are part of your food plan whether or not the permit names a number.
Start with our porta potty calculator, then let your account manager adjust it for heat, shade, and how long people stay.
Match the unit to who uses it and how long the job lasts. The full list is on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty covers most work here. Toilet, urinal, paper holder, and sanitizer, which suits a construction crew, a roofing job, or a backyard party.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty enters at ground level with a wide door, grab bars, and turning room inside. Any public event should have at least one, placed on a firm path.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty flushes and keeps odor down, which guests appreciate at a bayfront wedding or a company event in the heat.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink adds a sink, soap, and a mirror inside the stall, which is handy at family gatherings and near food.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its light and fan from a roof panel, so it works on a ranch, a beach access point, or a site with no power yet.
The Handwashing Station is a stand-alone sink with fresh water, soap, and towels. Food vendors need one, and crews working in Gulf heat use them constantly.
The Restroom Trailer brings several stalls, running water, and air conditioning, which is worth every dollar at a summer wedding on the coast.
Tell your account manager who's using the units and they'll build the right mix.
On private property, no permit is needed. A driveway, a fenced plant site, a ranch, or a private lot are all fine. Permits start when you touch public ground.
Streets and sidewalks: The City requires a permit to operate in its right-of-way, for construction and non-construction work alike. Public Works runs that process, and the right-of-way permits page explains that a correctly submitted application takes 7 to 21 business days to review and approve, depending on how complicated it is. The blockage permit covers barricading, blocking, or closing a street or alley, and the ROW Management office on Hygeia Street can be reached at 361-826-3547.
Events: Special events run through Parks and Recreation, not Public Works. The special event permit page covers run and walk events, sporting events, festivals, parades, and marches. Applications are due 60 days before the event, there's a non-refundable $100 application fee, additional fees can apply, and the permit has to be issued before the event date. You can call 361-826-3411 with questions.
Food vendors: Food at an event is licensed by the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District, which publishes separate guidelines for temporary event vendors and answers at 361-826-7222. Texas rules expect each booth to have a handwashing setup with an insulated water container and a spigot, a container for the wastewater, soap, and disposable towels.
State highways: The highways and causeways through the area belong to the state, and an event closure on one goes through a transportation department agreement that the district engineer approves. Your account manager can tell you which office owns your frontage and get you to the right person before delivery day.
Pick firm, level ground, and on the coast that means thinking about sand. A unit on loose sand will sink and lean, so set it on a pad, plywood, or compacted ground, and expect to stake or weight units anywhere the wind comes off the water.
The truck needs a clear route. Figure on getting a service vehicle within about 25 feet of the door, with no soft shoulders, deep sand, or locked gates in the way. On a plant or construction site, keep units within a couple hundred feet of the crew.
Keep units away from food and water. Handwashing stations go beside the food booths and the units sit further off and downwind. Stay back from storm drains, drainage ditches, and the bay itself, since nothing from a unit may be released into them.
Weekly service is standard, with each visit pumping the tank, washing the interior, and restocking paper and sanitizer. In Gulf Coast heat and on big crews, two visits a week is often the right call.
Where the load goes is spelled out locally, and it's worth knowing. Corpus Christi makes liquid waste haulers hold a City permit that names portable toilet waste directly, lists every truck used, and requires a copy of the hauler's state sludge transporter registration plus proof of insurance. State law also requires a manifest or trip ticket for each load. The City charges $50 for the permit, $50 to register each vehicle, and $35 for every 1,000 gallons unloaded at the City plant. Trucks have to be built to prevent leaks, carry a sight gauge, and keep their exteriors clean and odor free at the start of each day. Your account manager can confirm your service schedule and answer questions about the route your load takes.

Most local orders can be delivered inside 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days of notice is better, and spring festival weekends, holiday weekends on the islands, and anything during a storm watch should be arranged as early as you can, because the whole Coastal Bend reaches for units at the same time.
Five things that keep delivery simple:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery across the city and the Coastal Bend, from the port and refinery corridor to the south side, Flour Bluff, Padre and Mustang Island, Portland, Gregory, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Robstown, and Kingsville. Whether your site is an industrial lot, a beach access road, or a ranch inland, we build one delivery and service plan around it.
A standard unit here averages $199–$349, and an accessible unit averages $200–$300. Deluxe units run $300–$400, and a restroom trailer starts at $1,500. Unit count, rental length, service frequency, and how far out on the islands the site sits all affect the total. Your account manager confirms it in your free quote.
One unit per 50 guests over about four hours is the working rule, with 15 to 20 percent more if alcohol is served. A 300-guest festival afternoon comes out near six units plus handwashing stations at the food booths. Public events should include at least one accessible unit.
Federal worker-safety rules allow one facility for a crew of 20 or fewer. Over 20 workers it's one toilet seat and one urinal per 40, and over 200 it's one of each per 50. Keep units close to the work, and tell your account manager when the crew size changes.
Once a week on a standard rental, with the tank pumped, the interior washed, and paper and sanitizer restocked. Gulf Coast heat, humidity, and large crews all argue for a second weekly visit. Your account manager can set a schedule that lines up with your busiest days.
No. A unit on your own driveway, yard, ranch, or fenced job site needs no City permit. You do need a City permit to place one in the right-of-way, including a street or sidewalk, and events need a Parks special event permit. Your account manager can help you check.
A standard unit is one narrow stall with a toilet, urinal, and sanitizer. An accessible unit is wider, has a flat entry with no step, and adds grab bars and turning room for a wheelchair. Public events should include accessible units in each cluster. Crew-only job site units are exempt.
Weekend rentals are written as a standard three-day period, so a single day and a full weekend usually land near the same price. A standard unit averages $199–$349, a deluxe flushing unit $300–$400, and a handwashing station $150–$250. Your account manager will confirm delivery and pickup windows.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We'll choose the units, build a service schedule around the weather and your busy days, and give you a clear price.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
