Find Sustainable Porta Potty
in Lake Forest
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals throughout Lake Forest, California and the Saddleback Valley around it. The units serve home remodels and room additions across the older tracts, tenant improvement construction in the business parks off Bake Parkway and Rockfield, trail and slope work near Whiting Ranch and the Serrano Creek corridor, and events of every size, from a youth tournament at the Sports Park to a street festival or a backyard wedding.
Your quote reflects the unit you choose, how many you need, how long they stay and how often we come back to service them. Below you will find our ranges, the counts California law actually requires, the two permit tracks Lake Forest runs, and how fast we can be on site.
Each range assumes a three-day rental, which is how nearly every Lake Forest event order is written. A single Saturday and a whole weekend usually come out the same, so pick the dates you want rather than shaving them.
Construction is billed on a longer rhythm. A kitchen and bath remodel, an addition or an office fit-out is normally quoted in four-week cycles with service included, and the weekly figure drops once the first cycle is done.
California adds a second line item that many customers do not expect. State rules count a handwashing station separately from the toilet on a job site, so a Lake Forest crew quote almost always carries both. Plan for it rather than treating it as an extra.
Access does the rest. A unit beside a paved parking lot is fast in and fast out. A unit behind a gated tract, up a steep driveway or out along a slope trail costs the driver time. Walk the approach with your account manager and the number will be right the first time.

Request a Quote NowCalifornia sets the job-site count in law, and Lake Forest handles events by condition rather than by formula:
Start with our porta potty calculator, then let your account manager pressure test the figure against what the City is likely to condition.
Match the unit to the user and the length of stay. The whole range sits on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty is the default: a private stall with a toilet, urinal, paper holder and sanitizer. Remodels, slope work and small gatherings all run on it.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is roomier, enters flat with no step and carries grab bars and wheelchair turning space. Lake Forest asks you to list accessible units by name on the application, so decide on them early.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty offers a flushing bowl and much stronger odor control, which guests notice at a wedding or a company day.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink builds a sink, soap and mirror into the stall, so guests are not hunting for water across a park.
The Solar Porta Potty takes light and ventilation from a roof panel. Trail projects and evening events with no outlet nearby are its natural home.
The Handwashing Station is a separate sink with clean water, soap and towels. California counts it as its own requirement on a job site, and events want one beside every food vendor.
The Restroom Trailer arrives towable, with several private stalls, plumbed water and climate control. Weddings, corporate events and long projects justify the step up.
Still weighing it up? Give your account manager a guest count or a crew split and they will set the mix.
On private ground, your own yard, driveway or fenced site, a portable toilet normally needs no City permit in Lake Forest. Two other situations do need one, and the lead times are different.
Streets and sidewalks. The City is unusually clear about this. An encroachment permit is required for any work in the public right of way, and the City spells out that this includes storing or placing anything in the street, sidewalk or public area during construction. It has to be in hand in advance. The Senior Permit Technician takes those questions on 949-461-3487.
What that costs. The City's fee schedule sets a general encroachment permit for work of up to two days at a $662 base fee plus $284 for each additional day, and work expected to run longer than two days at an $825 deposit. For a long placement it is worth asking the City whether a single longer permit beats a string of short ones.
Events, and watch both ends of the window. A special event permit covers any temporary event of up to 30 days with 50 or more people, any organized group of 30 or more on a City street, park, parking facility or sidewalk, and any event at all that needs a street closed. A park-only event goes to Community Services; everything else goes to Community Development. The application has to be filed not less than 30 working days before the opening date and not more than six months before it, with 90 calendar days recommended. That ceiling catches organizers who try to lock a date a year out. A gathering of more than 50 people in any City park needs the same application.
Event fees. Special event permit application review is $491. A park permit for a group of 51 to 250 people runs $250 per rental plus a $500 cleaning deposit at the resident and non-profit rate, and $500 plus the same deposit at the non-resident and commercial rate. Above 250 people at the Sports Park those figures rise to $500 plus a $1,000 deposit, or $1,000 plus the same deposit, per the City fee schedule.
Not sure which track you are on? Your account manager can tell you before you file anything.
Placement is what makes a unit usable for the whole rental.
Level ground first. Give the driver a clear, straight approach with no low branches, tight gates or parked cars across the opening. Keep units at least 15 feet from any food service, and well back from Serrano Creek, storm drains and irrigation heads. On a job site, put them inside roughly 200 feet of the crew and set the washing station beside them rather than inside the unit, which is what California requires. At an event, split units into small groups instead of one long row and put an accessible unit in each group.
Weekly service is the baseline. Larger crews, hot inland weeks and multi-day events usually justify a second visit, and a unit that is emptied often is a far better advertisement for your site.
The servicing side is licensed work, and it stays on our side of the deal. Lake Forest's own code, where it sets rules for events, requires chemical units to be serviced by a licensed vacuum truck, and the contents go to a permitted treatment facility rather than anywhere on your site. Sewer collection around Lake Forest is split between local special districts, and the City publishes no hauled-waste schedule of its own, so your account manager will confirm the disposal point for your address before the truck is loaded.

Most Lake Forest orders can be on site within 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days lets us match the exact mix to the job. For a park event, a tournament weekend or a wedding, allow several weeks, because the whole of south Orange County competes for the same Saturdays.
Five habits that keep a delivery here clean:
Prime Dumpster arranges porta potty delivery across Lake Forest and the Saddleback Valley and south Orange County communities beside it, including Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Irvine, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel and Foothill Ranch. Whether your site sits in a business park, in an older tract, or in a City park for a weekend, we plan the delivery, the service visits and the collection around your dates.
Standard units run $199–$349 and accessible units $200–$300. Deluxe flushing and sink models land between $300–$400, solar units between $500–$600, and restroom trailers open at $1,500. Unit count, rental length and service frequency all move the total. Your account manager will confirm the number in a free quote.
Lake Forest publishes no guest ratio and sets the count as a permit condition instead, so bring a solid figure. We plan one unit per 50 guests across about four hours, add 15 to 20 percent more where alcohol is served, and include at least one accessible unit. Your account manager will build the list for your application.
California goes further than the national rule. State law requires one separate toilet facility for every 20 workers, or part of 20, of each sex, with no upper cutoff, plus one washing station per 20. A crew under five needs a single all-gender unit. Give your account manager the crew split and shift pattern.
Weekly service is the baseline. Each stop means the tank emptied, the bowl and floor scrubbed, surfaces wiped and fresh paper and sanitizer. Big crews, warm inland stretches and multi-day events earn a second visit. Your account manager can time the stops around your busiest days.
Usually not. A unit on ground you own or control needs no City permit. The right of way is different: Lake Forest requires an encroachment permit for placing anything in a street, sidewalk or public area, and it must be issued before delivery. Your account manager can confirm which side of the line you are on.
A standard unit is one narrow stall with a toilet, a urinal and sanitizer. The accessible model is wider, enters at grade with no step and adds grab bars with room to turn a wheelchair. Plan on roughly one in twenty units being accessible, and at least one in every group. Closed crew-only sites are exempt.
A weekend is the standard measure, because every range here already covers a three-day rental. Standard units fall between $199–$349, deluxe flushing units between $300–$400 and handwashing stations between $150–$250. Your account manager will confirm the drop window and the pickup day.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order, add the washing stations California expects, and give you a clear number on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
