Framing, drywall, stucco, roofing, flooring, cabinets, trim, fixtures, carpet, and general cleanout junk all load without a problem in a roll-off. The City's own published limits are a good guide to what has to be kept out of any container.
Oakland Park's container rules bar hazardous waste outright: chemicals, gasoline, insecticides, oil, paint, and pesticides. Propane tanks, acetylene and oxygen cylinders, and fire extinguishers are also excluded, and so are tires and auto parts.
Large metal appliances are their own category. Washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers all need separate handling rather than going in with the debris.
The City also keeps construction debris out of its own bins, listing concrete, dirt, drywall, rocks, and steel rebar by name, and it caps container weight at 6,000 pounds including the container. Roll-off service exists to cover the material the City will not take.
Household hazardous waste, electronics, and tires go to the county drop-off center instead. When something has you unsure, check with your account manager before it is loaded.
