Most construction and household debris is fine. The limits come from Florida rules and from what the county landfill will accept.
Tires are the clearest case. Florida runs a separate waste tire program governing how tires are transported, stored, processed and disposed of, with its own registered collectors, so they cannot ride in a mixed load. Set them aside and mention them when you book.
Hazardous waste, liquids of any kind, paint, solvents, fuel, pool chemicals, automotive fluids and anything containing asbestos all have to stay out. So do batteries. These are the items most likely to get a whole load refused at the scale rather than just the item itself.
The city adds its own rules. Dumping garbage, trash or refuse anywhere in Sebastian is unlawful, burning it is unlawful outside the narrow exception in the fire code, and the city's litter rules reach building materials by name, including anything that blows off a job site onto the road or a neighboring lot.
Worth knowing for a cleanout: the county's curbside bulk service takes furniture, appliances, grills, lawn equipment and tires up to 25 inches, but it will not take carpet or rugs. Those belong in a container.
If you are unsure about an item, ask your account manager before it goes in. One wrong item is cheaper to pull out than a rejected load is to fix.
