Wood, drywall, roofing, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, pavers, furniture and general cleanout debris belong in a Winter Garden container.
Florida law keeps several items out of landfills. Lead-acid batteries, used oil, white goods such as refrigerators and washers, and yard trash bound for a lined landfill all need their own route.
Household hazardous waste such as paint, pool chemicals, pesticides, light bulbs, motor oil and antifreeze goes to the county's drop-off sites, not in the container.
Tires have their own limits at the county, and a large load of them needs special handling.
Asbestos is worth checking in older downtown buildings. Florida requires an asbestos survey before many renovations and demolitions, and regulated material must be removed before work starts.
Tell your Winter Garden account manager what is going in, and the separate routes get arranged with the container.
