In Zion, a few things decide what your dumpster ends up costing.
Start with the size. A larger container has a higher price, but it's cheaper than booking a second one when the first runs out of room.
Weight is next. Disposal is charged by the ton, so plaster, tile, and shingles fill your weight allowance long before the container looks full.
Recycling rules can shape the job too. On larger projects, Zion requires most construction debris to be recycled instead of landfilled, and you'll need weight tickets to prove it. Sorting clean wood, metal, and cardboard helps you get there.
The City's own pickup is pricey by comparison. Zion charges $500.00 per 5 cubic yard load for a City Clean-Up of a debris pile, paid up front, and it now requires contractors to handle their own cleanup. For most projects, a dumpster holds far more for less.
